WHOA THERE BUDDY. When someone takes their life, it is very tragic. Very tragic that they felt they had no alternative, no one to turn to, and nothing to live for. But to blame it on a girlfriend and the things she has said is misguided. If the suicide victim had stronger family ties, better self esteem, and a healthy relationship with a higher power, a bad relationship with a girl would NOT lead him to suicide. He probably would have never gotten into an unhealthy relationship in the first place if he were emotionally stable. Girls who say horrible things usually don't say it without provocation either...........this guy probably did some things to hurt her and she overreacted, and it was just a vicious circle. But it's not up to us to judge, or to even begin to understand why a young person would do such a thing. Bottom line is that each individual is responsible for their own emotional well being, their happiness and success in life. But someone who commits suicide has been having problems for a very very long time, probably since childhood, and it's not just the immediate situation that leads to a decision as tragic as suicide.

I know tons of people from VIP (including Bob, Donny & Tina, and I agree with you, they're all very nice) and a lot of them were on that thread, which is what surprised me. the person who started that thread has always been one of the cool posters and i always enjoy her comments, that's why i was surprised that she started a topic like that. kind of out of character for her, and like i said, i thought these two boards were cool with each other these days. as for creating a message board without advertisements, investors or rules, that's not an issue for me (nor is it relevant to this thread) but i certainly respect their choices and DaVe's too.

we (old skool CPers) established a long ago that if we looked at the boards at work that it was at our own risk because our colleagues could see just about any crazy thing at any time, and you don't have to be on the sex board.........people have objectionable (as far as work is concerned) pictures in their sig and it doesn't matter if it's male or female, you would get in the same amount of trouble for either (or at least i would). as for "taste" and a time & a place for everything, that's up to the individual. of course it's not in good taste........neither are a lot of other signatures..... as for shock value........isn't that what it's all about? people like us love that kind of thing, love a controversy, debate, drama etc. this is the perfect forum for this kind of thing........ by the way, how does a girl open her clitoris? that sounds painful. if you're talking about a woman spreading her legs for the camera, it happens all the time, just go look on the sex boards. soon enough workenonlife will probably push the limits too far and DaVe will step in. until then, i'm going to enjoy looking at the little hottie.....purely in a fantasy sense, since i'm old enough to be his mother.........as a dirty old woman, i'm grateful for the chance to see some hot young'n showin his stuff.
