  5. No venues is really the problem, and what venues there are usually do the same tired events that have failed previously. So most of the people just go to lounges and bars. NYC is really the place to be right now. If you are in Philly this Wednesday, stop by Tribecca, where I'm playing for the night.... it goes till 3:20 too..its a cool spot..
  6. I have a few pics from the party on my site.... http://pub32.ezboard.com/fadamsmessageboard96005frm0 I hope Andy was around late enough to hear Tom play my "H2O" coming out this fall on Twisted along with my "Irresistible" remix... Nice pic of andy btw, I owed him that after that last photo...
  7. Really not much left in this town. It's all lounges now for the most part. You have Bash on saturdays which is decent, afterhours at tribecca a small place and thats it really. Egypt and chrome are the leftover delaware ave clubs that are still just there I would say. Many people say philly will be all lounges in a year or so, the scene is not that great here right now.
  8. Thanks guys!!! I didnt play that long and it was difficult holding back, cause I wanted to play some other banging shit, but I wanted it to be a proper opening set. :-D Mac and Ali played a great set I thought too... I have some upcoming stuff in NYC in the works as well... Peace!! Adam

  11. Babylov, Let me help you out here a little. I am from philly but consider myself a mutant, because I actually come up to the city to go out more then I even do down here. However, I know both cities nightlifes equally well, have DJ'd at major venues here and in nyc, and can give you a kind of unbiased opinion. You are absolutely 100% right about philly. The scene here was actually fairly decent about 5 years ago, but the last few years have seen a string of poorly promoted parties literally destroy the scene. Yes, the people here are twice as rude, on average, then new yorkers, thats just philly. It's kinda like that little loud yapping dog thing. Not just girls, but people in general here no nothing about music, and go out basically to get fukd up and to hear hip-hop and music they hear on the radio. There is a lot of amazing talent in Philly though, it's really a shame. Robbie Tronco, Dozia, Randall Jones, Josh Wink, etc... The talent here is baffling, yet there is no where for all these dj's to play. Besides that, stay in new york! LOL Philly needs to settle down and rethink itself... P.S. yes i know they drive slow here, I got used to driving in nyc and I piss everyone off here...hehe.. and get this, taxi drivers here will NOT CUT YOU OFF!!! What a concept!! HAAAA
