There is a double cd called 'paradise garage' out, a double mix cd with a nice liner leaflet with the whole story of Larry and the garage. It looks weird in there seeing the typical nyc style dj console setup, where it came from and all. Many of the big name DJ's are mentioned in there such as Danny, Junior, etc. He was really the pioneer. It mention's Larry's amazing ability to read the crowd, "OK, those people arent dancing over there, hold on.." One song later, they'd be dancing Adam ------------------ Adam's little web site

Thanks Furnace... Yea guys, Danny showed up like around 1:10 or so. I dropped a few DT bombs, but I tried to play my own sound as well, its hard in 1 hour. I must admit though, I though everyone was great, they were all a really nice bunch of guys. Glenn, Ty, Carl, Tim, really nice people. I felt everyone deserve to win. Highmay, Thanks a lot for your comment, after saturday where its just one of those nights where everything goes wrong (soundsystem was DOA, monitor DOA, cd players an hour late...) it's really nice to know there are a few that appreciate the time and effort I put into it. I'm just a music geek, who is addicted to vinyl, and loves to play to people.. Philly?? I know I know, I drive 80 miles to the nyc nearly every week to hear DT because of how bad most of the clubs and music is in philly. There are a few good spots (fluid, sometimes evolution, tribecca, etc, optimal eye candy is usually at evolution id say...ha) but for the most part, yea, its philly. I have some things in the works, and I'll let people know, but if you want to stop down again, make sure you email me so i can put you and whomever on the list. Did you go to twilo last Sunday?? Twiloman, 2 hours to NYC? where you live, delaware?? I can make it from northeast philly burbs in like 1 hour 20...double digit speed.. nolimit, i totally disagree... danny announced that friday was an anniversary and he was playing tracks from the last 2 years.. yes danny plays a half dozen or so big songs that are the hot ones every week, but id like to see you ID 25% of what else he's playing...I think people are forgetting that vinyl wsa PACKED friday and i think a lot of the twilo crowd was pulled to vinyl from last sunday.. Regardless, I heard a little of diggers set the last time he was in town, and thought he was great..but sunday will be a hard one to top... Hey guys, we just started a new party two weeks ago at this new place in philly called TPDS. Its a unique little space in the heart of the city, 12th and sansom, plenty of parking garages within a block or two, and its a real nice space. Art deco, 3 levels and a nice little dance floor. We had a great grand opening 2 weeks ago and things are going well. I spin saturdays playing dark deep, techy tribal house...kinda unique in Philly.. after hearing DT sunday I want to go back to the drawing board, but I keep trying.. Is a "told you so" in order somewhere along here?? There are great DJ's but DT is DT...I for one really was upset I didnt get to hear Cox... I heard he is awesome though too... Anthony was working the VIP area entrance and works the door at vinyl many a nights.. You ever go to vinyl ooana?? I'm there almost weekly...unless i'm working. Well when danny dropped the first few notes of the way, Ive never seen him explode so fast... He launched from the vip area to the floor in about 3 milliseconds... The DJ vibe "i'll take you" was one of the highlights definitely, oh my gawd it sounded good on that system! I have to figure out this one track... it had a real bedrock/digweed sound to it with like a computerized chainsaw riff to it... with this filtered simple female sample..."ray aww.." something that sounded like that... it had some real ambient sounds to it as well... that killed me...
