did u ever think that you would be where u are today? i mean, seriously, if i were to go back ten years ago and tell you what i anticipated doing today it would not have been what i am doing today, where i am doing it and/or with whom i'm doing it. my purpose of throwing this question out for all to read and hopefully think about is for the hope that at least one person will realize that life isn't a set of rules that must be followed in order to "be content with who u are," but rather a recipe that calls for your own judgement in order to make the perfect cuisine, your life, just the way you like it. we're all told that there are an order of events that must occur before an outcome we desire to take place can actually happen and this is true but if something doesn't happen when you want it to or expect it to....be patient, its a virtue. things happen for a reason and although at that moment when disappointment gets the best of you and things don't look bright....just around the corner there is a new person who will make an impact on your life.....its your choice that determines whether or not that person has a negative or positive impact. furthermore, you might be greeted with another obstacle when u turn the corner and that's ok....just keep focused on you and gain from these endeavors all u can so that where u are is always a place u are content with. just a simple thought i wanted to share... ~~~joanne ------------------ www.djcentral.com

BEEN THERE!!!! Do something about the situation now. Seriously. That is not a sign of anything except WACKED!!! I had a similar situation occur about three years ago. Met a guy, exchanged numbers, didn't go out just talked a few times and about 2-3 weeks later I got roses. I thought, wow...this guy must be really great, you know....not one of the guys whose only in it for the BANG. Anyway, we had been dating for about a month or so when one night while having dinner at Park Avalon he mentions that when he looks in my eyes he sees his children and future. I brushed it off and thought maybe the wine had gotten to him. NOPE. Wrong thought. It seriously became a novel for television. For months, several months, I would receive about 20 calls and 10 voice mail messages a day from him......"where are you, what are you doing, how come your not picking up the phone, etc..." I explained to him that it was wacked what he was doing but he would always justify it with I miss you (we lived about 45 min away from one another)or he just wanted to hear my voice. Regardless to say I had to break up with him about 589 times before he moved on and STILL he calls every now and then to torment me. ------------------ www.djcentral.com

How many do I read or how many do I receive? LOL.....its really hard keeping up to date with all the magazines each month. Lets see, there's Y Internet Life, WIRED, Fortune 500, E-Business, TIME, DJ Times, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Mademoiselle, Maxim, and thats not including the various magazines I pick up on impulse at the stores. Plus, the paper is read everyday and right now I'm reading Maria Shriver's book, Ten things I wish I knew before I entered the Real World....Ladies, very interesting and insightful book Crackorn......you really made me realize how much I read.....and forget! ------------------ www.djcentral.com
