I agree totally with the disappointment of things not being in order but I had a great time after the 45 min wait to check our coats. It was total mayhem down there!! I thought I was going to be spending my night there......thank God I was able to check my coat just in time to get upstairs and see Oakie come out on stage. I danced all night and didn't want to even leave when it was over. Its been such a long time, you know, I didn't want the party to end but ALL GOOD things must come to an end Translucent:: I'm sorry to hear that you had to stay upstairs....that sucks!! We had tickets also for the mezzaine but I spoke to one of the guys at the stairs and he let us in on the dance floor. Upstairs wouldn't have been that bad if there was a coat check. Word of mouth tells me that on Monday, November 13, 2000......New Jersey officials and Club owners of Hunka Bunka, Abyss, and CHROME will be in court. It seems as though the republicans in office don't like the fact of having these clubs in Sayerville and want them shut down. I've been trying to gather some more info because it really doesn't seem too fair if this word of mouth happens to be legit (which I believe is). I personally would much rather go out in the city, but as a Jersey resident, I have to admit that its pretty nice knowing that I can drive only 20 minutes and still go to a club with decent music and a decent crowd. Afterall, Jersey isn't that bad.....we get the b&t too you know...lol. If anyone has information regarding this fiasco....PM me and let me know as I am interested in finding out what the hell is going on and putting an end to the whole thought of closing "our" clubs.......ciao! ------------------ www.djcentral.com
