Whoa....word of advice...NO SLOPES!!!! At least not to stay at. Its a complete mess, literally! Eight of us went there last winter for Pres.'s Weekend and they told us that the room could sleep 10, I don't know how because we had 2 less 10....8 and we were packed in there like sardines! the room was 12x12 with 4 full beds.....thats it! The bathrooms are shared, like Dorms and the water in the showers is scorching HOT! Maybe HVI's (HUnter Village Inn) has better rooms, but definately stay away from sleeping at Slopes....go there only for the club Anyway, I'm in for snowboarding so keep me posted with the specs of when and where.....anytime is good for me ------------------ www.djcentral.com

I'd like to add that although I haven't been a member for all that long, I have been a member of the "scene" and this board, to me, should be an extension of that....where we can all share our expierences with one another, question certain issues, speak about whats new and reminisce of the old, what tracks are hot and which ones are not, yadayadayada..... My thoughts exactly.....its definatley about the music, music makes the world go round! We often bash one another's ideas of where and what is fun because its much easier to be negative than positive..... The way I see it, music is all we really have. No matter where we are....our cars, in the shower, at our desks, or in the clubs...we can have music, it is the best legal drug anyone could have. You knew who Ben Stein was before you could win his money,"Bueller?" You carried your lunch to school in a Gremlins, ET, Dukes of Hazzard,Knight Rider, Strawberry Shortcake or A-Team lunch box. You have ever pondered why Smurfette was the ONLY female smurf. You know what leg warmers are and probably had a pair. You wore biker shorts underneath a short skirt and felt stylish. You wore your Izod shirt with the collar up. Two-toned jeans were the "in" thing to wear. You went to parties that always played "Cum on feel the noize". You remember when Happy Meals came in a box,not a paper bag. You remember when Saturday Night Live was funny. You had Wonder Woman or Superman underoos. You know what a "Push Up" ice cream is. You had to come in the house when the street lights came on. You had to change into *play* clothes after school. You owned, or knew somebody with a Commodore 64. You remember being careful with your 5 1/4 floppy disks so as not to bend or tear them. You hate Scrappy Doo. You recorded songs off the radio with your boom box. You wish you had a light saber. Somehow you still know all the words to songs played on VH1's "Big 80's" Your arm was full of rubber bracelets. You have ever said, "Gag me with a spoon." You have ever wondered what happened to Saturday morning cartoons. You had to get up to change the channel. You at one point lip-synced to "Billie Jean" or tried to "moonwalk".
