  1. It's almost time to vote for the lesser of two evils... Gore's got my vote. *sigh* "That's a chapter, the last chapter of the 20th, 20th, the 21st century that most of us would rather forget. The last chapter of the 20th century. This is the first chapter of the 21st century. " ~George W. Bush (Arlington Heights, Ill., Oct. 24, 2000) "They want the federal government controlling Social Security like it's some kind of federal program." ~George W. Bush (St. Charles, Mo., Nov. 2, 2000) "I think if you know what you believe, it makes it a lot easier to answer questions. I can't answer your question." ~George W. Bush (In response to a question about whether he wished he could take back any of his answers in the first debate. Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Oct. 4, 2000) "It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it." ~George W. Bush (Rueters, May 5, 2000) "You might want to comment on that, Honorable." ~George W. Bush (To New Jersey's secretary of state, the Hon. DeForest Soaries Jr. As quoted by Dana Milbank in the Washington Post, July 15, 2000) "Will the highways on the Internet become more few?" ~George W. Bush (Concord, N.H., Jan. 29, 2000) Bush: "First of all, Cinco de Mayo is not the independence day. That's dieciséis de Septiembre, and ..." Matthews: "What's that in English?" Bush: "Fifteenth of September." (Hardball, MSNBC, May 31, 2000) "I don't have to accept their tenants. I was trying to convince those college students to accept my tenants. And I reject any labeling me because I happened to go to the university." ~George W. Bush, Today, Feb. 23, 2000 Last one, everyone... "He has certainly earned a reputation as a fantastic mayor, because the results speak for themselves. I mean, New York's a safer place for him to be." ~George W. Bush (On Rudy Giuliani, The Edge With Paula Zahn, May 18, 2000) That man makes my head hurt. ------------------ "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." ~JFK
  2. I was just wondering if any of you are currently half of a mixed couple, if you ever have been, if you would like to be, or if you have any opinions either way about them. I'm 100% Asian (Chinese), and have dated Caucasian guys, black guys, and a Latin guy in the past (as you can probably tell, race has never been an issue with me). My sweetheart right now is an all-American white boy, and I *love* my "gwai lo!" (By the way, I finally had Halloween pics from Twilo developed, and might get around to scanning them someday. I dressed up as Sailor Moon (short tie-top, tiny blue satin skirt, thigh-high red patent leather boots), and my honey was a bleached blonde prisoner in an orange jumpsuit.) ------------------ "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." ~JFK
  3. I use SX, Scour Exchange, which is basically the same as Napster. You can download it here: http://www.scour.com/ Have fun! ------------------ "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." ~JFK
  4. I agree with vejita, it's all about the fuzzy cuffs... http://www.condomzone.com/productgroup.asp?GroupId=113&AreaId=6 ------------------ "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." ~JFK
  5. *choosing to ignore kyoung's post* Good grief... ------------------ "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." ~JFK
  6. blueangel ~ I agree with you, love should be color-blind! It "just kinda happened" with me, too... I never sought out one particular race or type. It can be hard though, especially when traditional parents get involved... hopefully yours are as open-minded as you are! I realize a lot of times, problems don't arise from the two parties involved, but from parents/grandparents/siblings/friends, etc... ReginaP ~ awe, thanks hon! I'll be sure to pass the compliment along to him, I'm sure he'll appreciate it... trippintrance ~ GREAT pic, hehehe... Thank you so much for the well-wishes! g-money ~ hmm... I guess interracial dating between different Asian ethnicities isn't considered mixed in a majority of the US, but it probably would be over in Korea/Taiwan/Vietnam, etc? BTW, I agree with you about appreciating others' differences... the world would be a pretty dull place if we were all the same. ------------------ "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." ~JFK
  7. Hey, IMissNYC... are those guys Stan, Mike, Nate, Luke, Chris, Reginald and Cauldwell? ------------------ "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." ~JFK
  8. Lights ON... they don't have to be bright spotlights, just enough to be able to see and appreciate everything that's going on. ------------------
