Stop playin! I was there this morning, left around 9? It WAS really good, love the VIP room downstairs too. Mike is the shit!!!!! I love seeing our extended crew all the time, we always have each others' back and know it's a guaranteed good time because WE are the party, and now we've got some really good music to set it off properly after Danny's departure.

I still have NOT been to this spot, but I keep hearing about (and seeing) the dancers, and would love to go. What time is a good time to get there, what time does it usually end, and is anyone else going tonight? Is the music gospel house, or is it deep and soulful, or a mixture? I love Marques Wyatt and figure his style may be similar. Thanks y'all! Hope to see some of you there. Also, what is the crowd like?

I'm sure most of you have heard of this cat, he is an excellent tribal DJ and has had several parties over the past year. Well, he's back in action and is doing afterhours every Friday/Saturday from 1-10am at some spot on 20th and Park....it starts with an A! Does anyone know? I have a flyer, but it's at the house, though I am DEFINITELY gonna be there. How could I have forgotten last week when I was so down in the dumps over Danny?!?! Is anyone else interested in checking this out? I will log back on when I get home and post the info if it hasn't been done already.

Man, if you like deep, soulful house, then Sapphire was the place to be. It was my first time back in a while, and though the place is TINY, the music was amazing. The dancers were RIDICULOUS. The vibe was so intimate and PEACEFUL. E-Man and Lola were on the decks, who else goes to any of their parties? I love that track "Slangin" that is on Marques Wyatt's CD, and on the Bang The Party Album. I met Lola during the WMC and she is BAD. You just see this sexy little diva ripping up the decks and you gotta love that! Just had to share, don't all y'all come next week cause then the dancers won't have room!
