Several weeks afterward? The book is like detailing my experinces now and for most of my life... it's really weird. I haven't finished it yet. As for the translation I dunno... the book is a work of fiction so I guess they can do what they want. But, I'm sure there are people in this world that have studied aramaic enough to beable to read it like english. Anyway... are there any other people who find corilations with this book in there past/present daiy life? It's strange how much I relate to the things written about... I've been telling friends of mine for years that there is a energy (unseen) flowing between everyone and though I can't see it I have gut feelings about it. Thouse gut feelings help me know when people are happy, sad, disterbed... or any feelings really. It's a change in sensations for me. I dunno... can anyone relate? //sariman ------------------

Well last night Danielle and I went to the NYCares orientation. What a great event they have going. The organization seems very well run with plenty of funding from various sources. No government funding outside of a newly aquired grant to hire some full time technology staff members. Basically for thouse of you that don't know. You give up about 30 minutes of your time to go to this orientation where they get your address and explain who they are and what kind of work you would be doing. Then every month they send you a calendar. You can choose anything or nothing to do that month. All volentier work is done in teams of people so it's not only a good cause, but it's a great socializing event as well. You have to go to the orientation for their insurance purposes, but it's not much of a time strain at all. After that there is no obligation... if you let 3 months pass between volenteer work you will be purged out of their database and stop recieving calendars, but I'm sure you could call them up and get that reinstated. So anyway you can get some more information about then aswell as when the next orentation is at http://www.nycares.org . I hope that we can get some more board members into the organization. We all have a few hours on the weekend or after work one day of the week that we could fill by helping children, pets, seniors, adults, re painting schools, reading books to people... basically caring. //sariman ------------------

Hey Oo. After I took a trip to korea for a week I got back and found myself trying to sleep, but always waking up at 3am and unable to go back to sleep... after that I couldn't get to sleep until 2 or so in the afternoon. I just went to the drug store and bought some unisom (over the counter). It knocked me out in 30 minutes and I slept like a baby, but could still wake up when I needed to. I've got some if you want to have one. I'm about to head to midtown as well... have to pick something up from work. //sariman ------------------

Shit like this always pisses me off. I know of similar college situations where entire frat houses would drug sorority drinks during a mixer. It's sad and sick and if I ever knew or saw someone doing this they would get the shit kicked out of them. As for you majestic... I'm glad Al was there to help you out. I MISS NEW YORK!! Hell I've only been here for 2 hours. I forgot how dead Jackson, MS really was. Drove around... love my mustang and I've missed it... and went past the parking lot where all the highschoolers gather in large flocks until a cop runs them off. Great topic girl! I've always been into techno since KMFDM was out in the market. After that it was Orbital and Prodigy. My first real rave experience was at a place in Jackson, MS when Rabbit in the Moon spun... awsome show, but since there is no scene in mississippi and I didn't have any connections to the outside I kind of died off after that. Later on I went to college and meet my best friend who is a bedroom DJ and we started driving around going to parties. I got to see Sasha and Digweed in July in Memphis and I was hooked. So I've always listened to some form of electronica... I remember when AMP first started on MTV! But, didn't get big into the dance scene until this past summer. //sariman ------------------
