I heard a strange rumor. The rumor is that there's a rumor of a bust. I don't know how that goes but have you seen who's gonna be at redno5? Adam Beyer and Christian Smith. They are both killer dj's. Anyway, I think I'll spend my time and money there.

dude, who the hell is Mano? That was a frikken blast. I'm still pissed about Dave's no show. And tho the new place looks good and all, the ventilation still sucks and it was too hard to dance with all the condensation on the floor. Venue's only part of that whole clubbing experience. The music and crowd definitely made up for the shortcomings of that basement. I'm glad I didn't end up going to crobar when we saw that sign on the door.

I'll be there - - - showing up with some friends and meeting up with some other people. I'm so stoked, hadn't seen the place since the remodeling. Mentioned it to kimco77 but I dont know if she'll show.

That line was a test of devotion for us regular clubbers. I did have fun wearing my costume and meeting people on Sat. I was out at the mission the night before and had such a blast. I can't say which night was better cuz they were both so different. Teri was goin off at the mission but you had Chris Gin opening and filling in for a bit near the end on Sat. Everyone was there to celebrate Psycho's birthday and cd release. I had an amazing time both nights. Mission: Accomplished glad you made it out tranceaction. didn't you just wanna yell at those fools waiting in line without a coat?

redno5 is a cool scene. It seems to cater to a lot of the raver crossover crowd since the PURE promotions started there so expect the same kinda dress. It doesn't get outlandish but they're a little more lax than crobar. My only beef is with that low ceiling and that basement smell. No amount of remodeling is gonna do anything for that. As for the drags, I haven't noticed any there. Just cuz someone did, don't let that deterr you from going. I'm sure they're at all clubs. You just don't notice.

regarding the club incident with the guy who ran the site: I told him what I think. regarding the club getting the site pulled: I'm no diplomat but maybe they should have talked to the dude first and correct any problems they may have with his site. Then if he refused then go through the proper means of getting that site canc'ed. Now if that was the case, then the dude has no reason to bitch except for that crobar's got more pull with the site server than he does. Now if that was not the case then that's just some wrong shit. Crobar could have had that nuklear fusion site pulled cuz they were baggin the club too but they didn't.

friday is Dave Waxman is on stage at crobar. It's not that crowded and it's a real good vibe there. Saturdays at cb is a frikken sensory overload. A lot of tourists and suburbanites show up but it's real intense prog house by DJ Psychobitch and Teri Bristol. Angelist and DJ Dano play some real good trance there upstairs in the mezzanine. Another good club is redno5 with their PURE promotions but it's getting remodeled at the time you're here. If you check with the bluelighters (bluelight.nu) or CR (chicagoravers.com) message boards, there's a few of them clubbers that go to the Mission on Fridays. ZoomZ, Eshark, and Funky Treats. Also, Psychobitch has quite a following that treks on out with her to the Friday shows. Check with Crobar's message board if you wanna start a string. Don't bother reading all that other shit it'll make you sick. If you see anything by Mano, that's me. I used to post incessantly there until I realized how idiotic it was. I still have never been to Mission Fri's. Just on one Sat last spring which was a mistake, then on NYE where I was cracked out to hell. Still want to though, on a fri. DER
