  1. I think actually Limelight is bigger that Roxy in terms of rooms (maybe not capacity wize) dont forget all the catwalks and tunnels in Limelight.
  2. Naughtybooth shut down. I feel that most of the people migrated here. Thats why I post here. As soon as something will take place of naughtybooth I will become one of those "old club planters"
  3. NICE. Always wanted to hear Crystal Meth live. Webster apparently is trying to get back in a game. They had some jewels in there back in a day.
  4. HIS party was made by people like me. Just out of curiousity how long you being doing that?
  5. LOL 800-1000? That must be an amazing party in your head if you see doubles or tripples. Check the capacity of Arc. And why do you get so defensive ah? Did I say that his skills as a DJ suck? NO you dumb twat. Did I say he is bad producer? NO. SO WTF is your problem? You are PMSing you little cunt? Stop bitching before I slap you. And dont worry I dont go to his parties here. So RELAX YOURSELF and pay attention to what people are writing. I am at least happy that people idolize him than JP or the next thing you will tell me that you love him too?
  6. I dont know I dont know. I am thinking about Sonar and Nature One. But these are multiple day events.
  7. Speaking of which is he going to WMC? I know he turned the residency in Ibiza and was never there last summer (very disappointing since I caught him about 2 years back in Privilege when he spun a gig instead of a sick Diggers and completely packed the biggest venue in the world and brought the crowd on its knees) so I was wandering if he is really staying in NYC?
  8. That is the same shit I hear about him every TIME I bring that fact up. I have no problem with him thanking opening DJ or whatever. But all other shit you just brought up that like almost an hour out of a set. If I want to talk to a dj I will try to catch him when he is out of a DJ booth. When he is behind decks I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING BUT HIS MUSIC. PERIOD. And btw this is a criticism you will hear from alot of oldtimer fans of DT so dont give me that shit about communicating with the crowd. He is good of a DJ to communicate with you through his music NOT his talk PEACE
  9. I hope for every1 sake it will not be Roxy. Otherwise I feel sorry for you guys for shelling out another $50 for admission!!!
  10. I did not deny that. Although if you listen to underground Hip Hop it still has it. Dont forget Hip Hop artists (real ones not the ones on MTV) has a tremendous experience with Basslines and talent for creating them. It is a shame that none of them did any collaborations except Africa Bammbaata with dance djs. Listen to underground Hip Hop and that stuff will stay with you. And being about the music...Well that music was spun/created somewhere. someplace, somehow and in turn appealed to you? Isnt it all about like-mindness?
  11. Although Nu-NRG is still more Hard Trance and Hard House And Lisa Lashes specifically is more Hard Dance these days (harder, faster, more progressive). I think actually UK enthusiasts themselves admitted that Hard House does not exist anymore in its pure form and morphed into Hard Dance WHICH IS TOTALLY FINE BY ME!!!!
  12. Once again you dickless retard and we have told you this numerous times!!!! This was ONE fucking night and ONE dj that is not really that good. And as far as trance hippy...where the hell did you get that? If anything else house is more related to being a "hippy" offspring BE GONE MORON:blown:
  13. Very good point. As far as I remember Oakie is still the highest paid DJ in the world (I think he nets about $40K per gig) and still whenever he came to NYC I never had to pay more than $35. I am a die-hard PvD head but sorry Paul I will just limit myself to downloading your live-sets and listening to your albums. Roxy is the only place in NYC that does not realize that now-days it is about music and people NOT $$$$. Because guess what? with lower prices crowds will be bigger. Greed will kill Roxy.
  14. I think actually Be Yourself is the worse place to check him out. In spite of the fact that DT is considered to be one of the best DJs in the world (he was asked to have residency in Ibiza in all 9 clubs for 4 years straight) and he has skills/talent, Be Yourself is a waste of time. He also talks during the sets which I never understood.
  15. Dont you think that all positive vibes and deep emotions are there because this music is underground? Think about it, everytime you are in a club you share the experience with like-minded souls. Also, DJs are not superstars (bare with me for a moment) Some of them are soooo ugly its beyond ugly, yet they move crowds across the oceans. I will tell you this much, I dont know what will happen when Hip Hop will go away, but electronic music is here to stay.

  17. Now we getting somewhere
  18. MY THREAD IS BETTER THAN YOURS...BETTER THAN YOURS.... And it is on the top without any ratings.
  19. OHHHH. Now I got it I thought by "labels" you meant actual record labels not music "labels" My bet. I will check it out. Although I prefer deeper, darker harder basslines nowdays to sweeping strings. Is that what it is like?
  20. Toys are good but in moderation. What happens if they short-circtuit?
  21. I thought you "said humping"
  22. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OH MY GODDD THIS IS THE BEST PARTY IN THE WORLD!!!!!!
  23. So with all that raging hornyness do any of you actually doing anything about it?
  24. Yes I gathered that much. The question is what style? Smells like Techno, but wanted to confirm that. And there are few artists there so is it all one genre or is it like Superstition that combines proggy, techno, D'N'B, etc.
