  1. What is that got to do with anything? Go visit some party pictures from Holland, UK, Ibiza, Germany, Eastern Europe and than tell me that all those people like music that sucks? and they are ugly? People like you pollute the scene!!! Be Gone
  2. Sad very sad...And then again thanks to all of you who goes there no matter what. That really shows dedication. And you know I never thought I would say that, but thanks to the promoters for SF to bring the talent in spite of criticizms
  3. Just out of curiosity...Does JP pays every1 on this message board to post about him? Or you people are all brainwashed!!!! SF can be turned into something very special or you forgeting that it was the original TWILO!!! All it needs is the following...new sound system, tear all the stupid decor...improve the lights just a tad...and you have a magnificent place!!!! And y do you complain about rotating DJ schedule? This is the best!! You get to hear talent every week!! EXPEND YOUR MINDS! But I guess IGNORANCE IS BLISS!! I just never thought that it would be said about NYC clubbers.
  4. It will be a HARD BEATZ Nite. Hope to see you there!!!!
  5. Forgot about Spirit....It is true, mature crowd and tremendous space with tremendous potential.
  6. Everyone entitled to their own opinion "kiddo"
  7. Where? We must have lived in two different cities. And you sure you are not confusing NY Hard House with UK Hard House? Because if I recall correctly UK HARD HOUSE DID NOT EXIST 6 years ago!!!
  8. Yeah but its better when you take those pics yourself no?
  9. You bet ya. Although lately I think englishmen morphed UK Hard House into something more like Hard Dance. Either way, it is melodic (mostly), hard, progressive and fast. My kind of music
  10. Of course coming from a resident of a country where it was born. Remember something though, on East Coast USA and especially New York City (dominated by house) noone even know what UK Hard House is. I personally enjoy Lisa sets tremendously, but than again I do not see/hear her every weekend. The energy levels in UK Hard House only come close to Hard Techno.
  11. Lets see. Deep Dish was in Crobar this passed Fri. But no worries. Crobar consistently bringing top notch house djs, so you will not have to wait long to see someone big. JP (aka Jonathan Peters) is the DJ from Sound Factory that presumably signed a lease with owner of Exit to throw his parties which are called BLACK. So the venue is Exit2 and party is BLACK. Sound Factory parties with JP was notoriously famous for its unspeakable amount of drugs consumed and boring music being played, including JP himself getting so high that the record woould loop w/o no1 noticing it. The opening party in Exit is 3/13. Arc is fun, but the crowd is VERY musically oriented. Although on DT nites you will be able to catch a glimpse on the trendy side of NYC night life. But hurry, Arc will be closing soon and as such this will be the best time to go.
  12. Well yeah. Starting with the sound system!!!
  13. LOL He said "I don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of teenagers with belly rings or NJ "slicksters"." As far as I recall thats what JPs parties are. Hmm hard really. Try Crobar...
  14. That is why I am scared what will happen when Rank 1 and Cosmic Gate will come here. I mean 50,000+ peeps on Sensation White vs 150 clubbers in SF!!! My GOD we need to pull together.
  15. I agree with everything. Acting...eh, although Seth Green was phenomenal. Costumes absolutely amazing. A girl that was with us (who just recently started to go to clubs) said with a saddened tone that it must have been one hell of a time. To all that liked costumes, I highly recommend the Broadway show Tabu, that has disturbing similarity to NYC underground clubbing world as seen in London, where Boy George started.
  16. I highly recommend James St. James book!! The movie was only partially based on it. Otherwise, the book is terrifyingly hillarious and deep... That "day in a life of Michael" in prison on 1st page (especially the joke about bio weapons) is totally like Michael. In the book it is said that while they were going I beleive somewhere in Europe and were late getting to JFK, Michael annonimously called in the airline and stated there was a bomb on the airplane. LOL Needless to say they made it on time to board the plane with all the frantic passengers. I mean to most of us an idea like that will not even enter into the back of our MINDS!!!
  17. Judging from the "confirmed" line up post March 19th. However I wasnt able to confirm the date on her website. Her website shows that she will do the tour with agency that has offices in NYC. So there is a good possibility she will be here.
  18. Wrong country and really wrong city for that. What a pitty "Land of the Free"
  19. Prolly sometime around 1 am or 2 am. Avalon is usually very good with times. You might want to email Avalon guestlist and just ask about the set times. They usually respond within an hour or so. Given the choice between PvD and FC and more over Roxy and Avalon, I chose Roxy hands down. Sorry Paul
  20. OF COURSE!!! Just look at the Avalon line up. I am sure Arc will throw some nice bashes and Crobar will have something going. Dont worry we wont be alone. Plus I am totally convinced that crowds will be all better with all other peeps gone to FL.
  21. Every1 is excited about Cox/Picotto/Gabriel & Dresden, Tall Paul etc in Avalon. Somehow every1 chose to overlook something that can turn into a very legendary appearence. I am talking about Lisa Lashes. This would be the first time that a DJ of a such caliber in a style that is heard the least in NYC will appear in one of the city's hottest venues. And noone is excited? Does any1 know who Lisa Lashes is?
  22. You right...I still love South Beach...Although there is one place where I would go every year...IBIZA
  23. I KNOW I KNOW!!! I am very tempted to email the management of Cosmic Gate and tell them to ensure that the sound system is tuned in properly before they come. For that matter before Rank 1 comes. I really do not want to be disappointed with these two giants of trance.
  24. "Hear" is the key word. My god they need to do something about the soundsystem!!!!!
