We closed the place down 2 weeks ago and were there until 4:30 last weekend. We're going to try and play it a little saner this weekend - but we'll still probably be there until 3am, I'm guessing! Keep me posted - we should def meet up! :-)

I have to say that I'm partial to Scott Henry. He is so consistent and when he spins I can't seem to leave the dance floor! I'm so psyched that he's playing the 11-2 set at 5 every Saturday for a while! He was awesome last week! I also like Deep Dish....

I still go to raves down at Nation and Edge and I've been to Twilo as well. There's a certain type of energy there you just can't get anywhere else! But, I have to admit, I'm more likely to go somewhere like 5 on a regular basis. I still appreciate the rave scene, though!

Hey Sosultan! I went to London last year. Scala had some great jungle. I also went to Ministry of Sound and Cross. They were decent clubs and the people, like you said were very friendly! I was only there for 4 days - I would love to go back and check out some other scenes!

Don't feel bad Raver_Mania - I'm 28 and still going hard! I've been clubbing since I was 16. I used to be into punk, then R&B. A few years ago I got into the electronica/rave scene. I have friends ranging from 19 to 34. It's all about having a good time at any age, right?

Wierd! Last time I was there it was only $10 to get in and the DJ was slamming! Lots of build-ups - great mixing. Hmmmm, that sucks!

We were there! We (A1Wave and I) met Sosultan and his friend over at Lucky Bar around 9:30 and then headed over to 5 at 10:30. We only hung out until about midnight. We're saving ourselves for tonight at Nation it's going to be ON!!! Did you see the info below about where/when to meet? We can meet up earlier, too - if you like!

Skyhigh: There will be quite a few people decked out in Rave gear - but it's definitely a mix. You can pretty much get away with anything there, except for maybe stuff that's really conservative. There will be a lot of kids there under 21, since it is 18 and over, but upstairs there's a 21 and over section - if that's more your thing. C'Ya There!

I'm in! I'll wear my red velvet coat so I'll be easy to spot. A1Wave said she thought she would recognize you, too!

Were you on the dance floor much? Me and my crew were hanging out on the left by the pole near the bar. A1Wave was wearing a long sleeved silver shirt and I was wearing a white sleeveless shirt with lips. I was also on the box in the middle of the floor a couple of times, until some non-rhthym having people destroyed my groove! *lol*

The line up is: Scott Henry, John Tab, Shelia Storm, Carl Cox, etc. Admission is $22....

Well, I prefer short hair or bald, personally. BUT, I can always appreciate someone who has their own style going on! Got any pictures?

You might try Zei club - they are 18 and over and I've heard pretty good things about Saturday night, but haven't been myself. The clubs I've been to have been pretty strict with id. Hope this helps!

That's so true about the zero reaction from the crowd. The only time I've seen it there was for Okenfold - but it was definitely a different group of people - plus it was after 2:30am and most of the non-clubbers had gone home. I've been to Twilo, Tunnel and Webster Hall in NYC. Twilo was incredible, although we made the mistake of showing up too early (midnight) and people didn't start coming until nearly 2:00am! I went to Tunnel several years ago and was in complete awe. It was the first warehouse type club I'd ever been to. I couldn't even dance. I had to just sit on the sidelines and watch! I hated Webster Hall, the cheese factor was enormous and I must have gotten hit on at least 50 times. Ugh! How about you?

I went to www.dancesafe.com and the white pikachus are MDA, so it's all good if you want to roll. My opinion on drugs? Everything in moderation. If you need it to have a good time, something is wrong. But, I have no problem with occasional, recreational drug use.
