  8. Thanks mrmovement, Michael Louis is doing great and is going places fast. Michael Martin came close last year and I'm looking forward to hearing his mix this year. The event is strictly 21+ for all entrants. To answer everyone's problems - all of the events associated with this contest are our responsibility, and we can't encourage under 21's to attend when alcohol is on sale.

    All Stars!!!

Big thanks to everyone who came out last night - Space's line was all the way to the old Space at 1am - All Stars keeps getting better. Michael Louis: Wow! Both Roland and Oscar were telling me how excited they were to have him back at Space, and he didn't disappoint. The main room was treated to 2 hours of meticulous progressive house and progressive breaks. One of the most humble and talented DJ's I've ever worked with, and going places fast. And Craig Demo - the terrace got a treat too. Had to wait until 3, but then CD whacked out some very sweet tech stuff, highlights including a couple of tracks from his new label 'Tone Control'. Big thanks to Roland for letting him extend his set a little. Great vibe out there. And my apology to Ramon... can't make it tonight, the site keeps me v busy on Sundays, but hope it goes well...

  13. What can I say, Pete heard that you called him a wanker the last time he was in town, and refused to mention you. Where would he get that idea?
  14. Listen to this stream at 1h:40m:40s http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/rpms/essselection.rpm (if you open the file in RealPlayer you can ffwd)
  15. Iron Maiden - The Trooper
  16. Did you catch him at Space during memorial weekend? He played a really cool terrace set. We're doing our best to get our guys as many gigs as possible.
  17. 'Drifting' is always a solid show - Kurtis is developing a really nice tech style.
  18. I'm not totally certain yet, but I'm sure Louis will come on here in a couple of days and post it.
  19. Over the past couple of years we've definitely built a great relationship with Space, and we're lucky to get the chance to place our DJ's at one of the US's leading clubs - don't miss this one! Both Craig and Michael are extremely talented guys - they won't disappoint...
  20. Thanks for the info James
  21. That's not quite how it works - existing venues such as Nikki's and Opium will be 'grandfathered in' and will be exempt from the new law. It just prevents new open-air venues from opening.
  22. Yeah I caught them in Miami earlier this year - very impressive. I remember hearing their very early stuff when I was still in England. Red Rock looks great - wonder what other shows they have soon?
  23. Yeah I saw that, which is why we tried to vary it this week (Nerve / Crobar / Mun2) - the problem is that most of the big events over the last few weeks were at Space so they got a lot of coverage. Especially over memorial weekend when everywhere else was hip hop... Sold out's a bit strong though - I wrote a whole article on Monday on all the other stuff coming to Downtown - did you check it?
  24. Our Español Junkie went to check this one out... Carl Cox & Digweed back 2 back + Lawler. That's rather impressive isn't it? Check it at CoolJunkie
