  1. Missed one August 24th - CoolJunkie / DeckJunkie / Street / Party 93.1 DJ Competition Party. DJ TBA
  2. One DJ will get a very nice launch to his/her career this summer when they win the 2002 CoolJunkie DJ Competition. This year's contest is being held in conjunction with Street Miami and Party 93.1, and will take place over 5 events, including a huge DJ spin-off at Club Spin, and an even bigger Winner's Party at Club Space. The winner will receive a place on the DeckJunkie roster, a chance to spin live on Party 93.1, a gig at Club Space, and huge media exposure. Full details of how to enter will be available at CoolJunkie.com, in Street Miami and on Party 93.1 later this month. Start practising...
  3. Yep - Phrank and Miss Molotov have both joined our roster. They both kicked ass on Saturday and totally earned their places. Their pages should be up on the site in a couple of days. See you at the next one Lee...
  4. Well we took a risk on an unknown kid, and look what we got... a chill master. Welcome to DeckJunkie Mr. Fernandez!
  5. Dan hit the nail on the head... an amazing amount of people turned up and the music was absolutely top notch. Thanks to all who came, and particularly to Craig DeMO, Miss Molotov, Sean Bauzay and Frank Fernandez who all played outstanding sets. If you missed it you missed out

    Prog Is Dead

A fusion of prog and breaks is nothing new. Even locally both Sean Bauzay and DJ FX have done a lot of mixing of the genres to great effect. Everyone has an urge to be the first to label a style as dead, as it comes off as being ahead of the pack. In reality it's rare for a style to die, it justs evolves into something new - dance music rarely stands still Nick .junkie.
  7. We won't keep you waiting outside in the rain - I promise. Even if I have to open up a can of whupass on the door staff Nick .junkie.
  8. Well I guess if everyone else is going we'll show up too
  9. Ok so I'm bumping it up, but Saturday is looking awesome. The response has been fantastic, and all the DJ's are ready to impress. We've now confirmed a free Vodka / Hype Energy bar for 10-12, and the Hype girls will also be there doing the 'Hype Challenge'. Not sure what that is but it involves free booze so it's all good. Great music, great people, great times... See you there...
  10. Wednesdays will build into something very nice at Tantra I think
  11. That Miguel Migs CD is never off our system - totally smooth
  12. We couldn't get him - he'll only spin at 'mysterious' clubs...
  13. This night also has the support of the .junkies. - it would be a great lineup even without Dave Ralph. Both Bliss and Lust work tirelessly in South Florida to move the dance scene ahead, and deserve lots of support. Nick .junkie.
  14. Me too - this is the first time that we've been able to select the music for the whole party. Hope we've got good taste Nick
  15. > Laliux There's a guest list signup form at CoolJunkie
  16. This just in... there'll also be free vodka & energy drink cocktails from 10-12 for all CoolJunkie members...
  17. Yeah you can order multiple passes on one PayPal then just give us a list of names. It's not the best payment method in the world, but it's the best we have right now. In time we'll just process credit cards right on our site, but it's not possible at the moment, and the signup is pretty straightforward for PayPal. Your issues: 1. The start date is around 3 weeks away, basically because we need time to test run the passes and make sure everything is totally smooth before you try yours at Space 2. Because of special offers, we need to know exact numbers of people using the pass, therefore no +1. 3. As long as I can fit it in the name bar, you can have it
  18. It will work for all regular nights at Space until at least midnight, and on most occasions until 1am. Come to think of it that's probably a better success rate than your cologne For special events it depends on the guest, but it would have worked for Mauro Picotto. The info on available nights will always be on our site on Mondays so that there's no confusion. The whole idea of the pass is to avoid the kind of problem that you're talking about.
  19. > Saleen It works like a charm at Space... just like your cologne.
  20. Pod is right about the extras on offer, plus there are certain clubs who don't allow us to place guest lists or passwords, and we want to make all clubs available to our members. Initially the card will add Opium Garden and Living Room Downtown to the existing clubs on offer, with more to come soon. Plus there's the added bonus that you don't need to worry about signing up for the guest lists. As long as you have your card with you, you're always hooked up. And as far as the cost is concerned, that's less than the cost of 1 drink per month to get into almost every club in Miami for free with no guest list hassle. We do have to eat you know Nick .junkie.
  21. This Friday @ Sutra... Bliss + Lust present Dave Ralph with Jon Cowan (DeckJunkie), Vaughan Lazar (DeckJunkie), K-Ahzz, and Sheldon Prince (DeckJunkie). Also don't forget Saturday @ Living Room South Beach - DeckJunkie showcase with Craig DeMO, Miss Molotov, Sean Bauzay, and introducing Frank Fernandez!!!
  22. Hey guys, Today we launched our Party Pass, which is basically a card which will get you into nearly every Miami club for free before midnight. No more worrying about guest lists or passwords, just flash the Party Pass at the door before midnight and you're all set. The pass costs $5 per month and has unlimited use... Check it out here... Nick .junkie.
  23. wooooooooooo! That's our first victory over Argentina in 22 years!
