times like this where I revert to my old friend Mirc... I tried Morpheus (Identical to Kazaa only with no music) Gnutella has shit (maybe soon it will pick up) Bearshare (No one even heard of this program) AOL chatrooms... (for those of you who dont know AOL has private chatrooms where they share anything from MP3's to DVD's try private room MP3 etc.... I havent been able to get anything other then full length albums) All out of options...

Wow I just got this it's pretty sweet for anyone who wants to mix MP3's. awesome mixer. So anyone who doesn't have turntables and still wants to practice or for those of you who just want to play around and mix MP3's instead of vinyl this is a hot program. Theres a few new MP3 sharing programs that are picking up momentum. I am using WinMx and although it still is relatively poor in finding new tracks I am finding that it's getting better and better. I havent tried Music City Morpheum but I am quite certain that they havent started blocking (I'll let you guys know in a few hours when I test it). Another new program is called BearShare. -Guy

DO NOT CUT WITH COOL EDIT!!! It add's pops and clicks... If you go to download.com theres are a few MP3 "Splitter" programs Im using Mp3 cutter 2 which I think is fantastic (enter start time, enter finish time and let it do the magic) Theres also Mp3 Cutter German program, a few small bugs all of which are workable Last program I used was MP3 Butcher, I don't remember what it was about this track but I wasn't too fond of it. Really depends on the BF/GF... I tried it out several times. Once it was a horrible experience, she was terrified and wouldn't give me 2 inches of space. Made me leave early, not to mention buy her drinks at the bar ($7 a shot!!) Then there was once I took a (gf at the time) with me and it was seriously like bringing the party to the club. We were actually asked to leave as a result of lude behavior. So good luck making the decision. -Guy
