  4. okay..even tho I heard it at exit..everyone has a fair shot at this one... it has Mel C like strings....dope track and the girl is singing something about "I wanna be a good girl" or "I can be a good girl" idk what time it was played but it was def the best vocal i've heard in a while...dont know if its old or new...? any help Mike BuGouT

  6. (ouch) well rather than run with my tail between my legs I will reply... Mike...if that is you (b/c I know a host of people who use producers names on this board and others) I am sorry that I spoke so strongly about your remix....In typing my top 10 so quick and trying to offer some comment on each track, whether I liked ur mix or not that was not what should have been said and I am sorry... To be honest, in doing radio, I have been playing a lot of your mixes...but the last few tracks I've gotten where u and someone else did a mix, I've picked the other--just my opinion...I am playing ur Ginuwine, still playing Dream, Case and some others on my mixshow everyday at noon--I didnt mean to denote that u 'suck' as a producer but I know thats how it came off, so again..I an sorry-- also...I am not hiding--dj mike bugout is my dj name, if u'd like to really speak with me...drop me an email djmikebugout@aol.com (so i know its you) and i will gladly drop u my # so we can talk Mike BuGouT
  7. no order 1. Why did u have to be (andy n lamboy mix) debelah morgan---great vocal...once again rizzos mix sucks 2. Rhythm Syndicate--great track.... 3. Miami-Boca --"To the beach-south beach"--i cant wait for march 4. Hard Shit--Richie Santana--some peeps dont like his new sound....i do 5. Kamasutra--Tribe of Kamasutra--sick track 6. Mystery- Central Seven ft. Khiara nice trancy hard track 7. Drowned--(Dezrock) Backstreet boys--once u hear it you'll be sweating it too... 8. In My dreams-tina ann (dez's dub)--brings out the chanting a lil more...i likeeee 9. In Africa-Derb -- finally heard it in a club...wasnt sure how crowd would deal with the annoying chanting but they went ballistic... 10. Turn Up Your Bass---Real & Unstable-- :D coming soon... thats all 4 now Mike BuGouT
  8. by the way....just wondering.... how old do you have to be to get into Vinyl on saturdays? Mike BuGouT
  9. Highmay-- you make some good points... i agree about some of the tracks from exit havinga simplistic nature as compared to say a superchumbo track with more elements....but its does goes both ways... whereas Rhythm Ready could be made by a 3 year old, some of Creamer's tracks are basic in themselves also... Take one ex.--Crouching Tiger (often referred to as an Exit Track) made by my man Rob Girelini---with the many strings and harmonies going on, how could it be considered a 'simple' track....yes, as a producer rob is young and has a lot of years ahead of him, but u must recognize that youth can produce {it would be like denying Jeter's greatness and amount of rings he owns just because he is so young and has greatness ahead of him} and I will agree with you that many so-called Exit Heads are young and most are new to the genre of electronica/house/trance.....and it is true that many have been 'corrupted' by exit into thinking that the beats they hear there are superior to ones one might hear at say...vinyl, twilo, ect...but I would rather have people listening to trance at exit (head bangers or not) than listening to rap or pop...do remember as u said, trance is europe's rock and roll and as far as this country goes....anything faster than 115bpm is either Sandstorm or techno.... (if anyone caught the yankees game yesterday the announcer commented on how last yr seatlle used who let the dogs out to pump up the crowd and this year they're using a 'techno' chant (zombie nation)) i agree with most of what was said....but in trying to 'educate' exit heads into listening to other genres (which most of then do as u should know) mocking what they feel is the shit doesnt get u guys anywhere... Mike BuGouT
  10. as the war btw so called "exit heads" and "real music fans" wages on (also called Supastars vs. Crackheads) I wanna throw in my 2 cents since I apprieciate both sides.... I gotta say that calling Exit Music not REAL music is bullshit and pisses me off...I understand its someones opinion and they can say it all day, it still makes me sick...why limit yourself to one type of music? and why do hard, progressive trancy bangers have to labeled EXIT TRACKS? True, when u hear them, and I do this also sometimes, you say, 'thats an exit track" But most of these tracks (unless ur talking about tony or dom's trax) have been played overseas for usually 2-3 months minimum before they make it to west 56th and everyones mailbox and mp3 players.... now on the other side of the coin...your Creamer, supechumbo, danny t stuff....I feel like its becoming 'musically correct' to recognize this stuff as the best out there (which it may be)--but some people have taken it too far....its seems as tho there is no more room of Danny T and Howell's respective genetalia for any people....the difference between them and exit is that they actually SPIN and do some creative stuff behind the tables, whereas tony saves his creativity for his tracks and programming (which leaves a lot to be desired) The point is this....most people who have been making fun of the kids who goto exit are on them for only apprieciating one type of music--"hard exit stuff"...and while doing this...they are being hypocritical and limiting themselves to one genre or one style and not listening or recognizing any others....I'll like some tracks Tony plays, but not all of them the same way I'll like some of the stuff danny plays but not all of them the same I'll like some of the stuff denny t plays but not all....and so on... The tracks posted on here on my last CD were all hard, I was in the mood to play hard so I did and I recorded it....I just finished a new vocal with Nelly Fortado and Jana and all that good stuff and Imma do a tribal/dark cd with a lot of good stuff from rauhofer and others...I try to stay diverse to get the most out of house music... I'm not perfect and I've got a long. long way to go to be a DJ on the level of many of the above mentioned...but WE ALL have to recognize ITS ALL ONE TYPE OF MUSIC....whether u play a Creamer/K track or a Catscan track for an ignorant hip hop head they're gonna say. "Man, when u gonna shut this techno bullshit off?" even tho neither is techno...we're all on the same side ahhhhh...okay Im done venting.....now instead of telling me that I just dropped madd knowledge, I want to hear some opinions on this keeping in mind what I've said about limiting yourself to one style (b/c genres can change within a style) and that goes for both sides of this ridculous conflict.... Mike BuGouT ps==please dont tell me 'its my opinion and I can listen to what i want! that is true...but dont do that and then turn around and get on people for doing the same thing."

  20. well... I dont get xtra money for waiting--that is the labels...my track for instance--Now that Its good to go...they are sending the acapella to a certain big name producer to do a rmx for the bside...that will take maybe ?? 2 months? i hope? idk--however long...after that tho we're gonna push it as fast as it goes...as far as THE END...look at it this way--its the same deal as a movie sequel to a blockbuster--Chapter was maybe one of the most successful domestic hard progressive tracks (remember sandstorm, derb and all those were originally imprts until denny grabbed em on groovy) and there is a LOT of money in a sequel..esp since its just a sick as the original.....so mike took his time in shopping it and deciding---now that he has chosen a label...they have to go thru all the legal mumbo-jumbo---labels are not out to help producers...'everyone wants something for nuthing" is what i was told by someone and its totally true....there is a difference tho between tracks like Luz and pressure that havent even been presented to labels yet and tracks like the end or my track which are with labels now--- as far as leaking--I honestly dont know what the future holds and as my true profession, I am in law school studying to figure out the legal ramifications of free music and stuff like that---true...i agree when it hits stores I person will rip the vinyl and send it out to everyone on the net--I guess as a producer you hope this doesnt happen but the reality is that it does and it will...so why not have me send it months in advance? 1-anticipation is what makes some of these tracks better (or worse--diamonds...ehhh) 2-why does everyone go see draper or JP or mac spin? one reason is that you know you will hear their tracks that arent on your computer or in stores yet--there are other reasons to see them I agree but when i go out to hear a DJ spin...usually its to hear what they;ve been working on and what may be available in the future...I used my track initally as aspringboard to get people to come see a no-name upstate westchester kid spin in NYC...i never thought of signing my track until i follow the advice of many people in the biz... also--we are priviidged if u think about it...we know about tracks the second they are finshed....we're always trying to get the one-up on everyone to say, I've got this unreleased track--i know not everyone is like this but this DJ CLue exclusive hip hop mentality is why I STOPPED spinning that junk and came over to what I spin now....those people have no clue about whats going on-- again---i dont say this to offend anyone--just giving ya'll a perspective from inside the game (maybe abotu 2 inches inside the door since I just got in --lol) my 2 cents Mike BuGouT
  21. Mike can't give out the end for the same reason that I can't give out my track--- with music like ours, we appeal only to a rather small audience compared to other genres--so every sale and every record counts---Labels have rejected tracks that people send out--The first thing i was told about my track by the label was DO NOT GIVE IT TO ANYONE and when they are signing your checks--you listen to them tony hasnt brought pressure to a label and JP hasnt brought Luz to a label either---I know JP wants to perect luz's tracks--but when he does....its HIS label they are coming out on (from what i understand==Deeper) I dont mean to sound like a dick b/c i'm all for free music and all--but some/most of these guys eat off of this....so when a song leaks and is all over the internet and most DJ's and listeners decide to DL instead of buy--they lose money.....true...it is all about the music and the love and yaddayaddayadda....but does the love pay the bills? Mike BuGouT
  22. anyone got a full version...mines 4:17 Mike BuGouT

  25. MikeE... okay...just checkin--I didnt know if u were speaking about me...u said some interesting things-- as far as Johnny, Feel-X and the whole UDJN crew.....I'm not gonna hate or even open my mouth b/c thats not my nature--but if i could u can imagine what i'd say--their afterhours show is garbage and has been the same cd with Jonah's yeah right for the last 3 weeks...cmon now I was at McCoy's Last nite drunk as hell....train wreck...that kid mangled derb to the point where i dont even wanna hear it again b/c i'll get flashbacks...when joey said "watch ur mixes" me and my partner Pauly started laugjing at the kid (we were in the booth at the time) Yes...I'm at the Matrix on sats....I'm in the back spinning all that good stuff every other week...tonight I'm off, but i'll be in the main room with Feva--If your coming, come in and say hello in the main room---the kid who does the back tonight should just drop his needles and shut his mouth about me Thanks for the supp't...bring me a demo next week at Matrix, manny the greek is spinning live--should be the bomb peace Mike BuGouT
