That's how I feel about it personally. Somebody once asked me how I could have told my exes that I loved them, when now I look back and wonder if it was really love. The answer is, it was the closest thing to love that I knew at the time. My dad gave me a wonderful saying, something like this: "I've never been this much in love again." It's a great feeling, if you have the good fortune to encounter it.

Is it really "being in love" when you're younger? How do you know, if you never have to deal with the "serious business"?

Nice! Related note... did you ever read a short story called "True Names" by Vernor Vinge? This was DECADES ago, but he envisioned an electronic universe where everyone had an alias, and you could get into serious trouble if anyone ever found out your true name. And look at us now!

Joe, a few things: 1) Nobody who posted before you did mentioned your name. You called YOURSELF out. 2) Nobody mentioned any specific drug. Though I will say, there's a WORLD of difference between the drug that I heard about (don't know if it's true, though) and the drugs that most people around here choose to take. 3) Thanks for fixing that post.

Repost of what I said in the other review thread: Just got home after closing it out. Missed Vath, unfortunately -- got there at 5:15 (though I did see him running around with a toilet seat around his neck and a record case on his head... WTF???) Hawtin rocked! Techno and tech house... mmm mmm good! I haven't danced that much in weeks! This was definitely my best night at Arc/Vinyl all year!!! Kudos to all the CP heads who stuck it out... always fun to get down with people you know... Nice thing is, I slept 6 hours before heading out, so I don't feel the slightest bit cracked out! I always wanted to try that... I'll definitely be doing that again... got there just as the crowd was starting to thin out, so I had room to dance the whole night! Summary: it was good. I had fun. Yes.
