That would be great Eric.. Roly & I were talkin' about this the other day. I would love to have some of those sets. There's some serious music in each & everyone of those. When Nick used to work at space I collected a few, but I haven't picked up anything since the old Space. Prob since Nov.02'.

Fo sho, we gotta talk further about this.. When Roland & Oscar played @ Nerve, there was this guy who came up to Roland & said. "Man, you are my fav dj. I have every one of your sets with Oscar, Deep Dish, Howells, S&P, Lawler & etc." I was shocked & we thought, shit pretty cool. I need to start a collection on these, so that's where the idea came from.

It would be cool to get a hold of some of these... :)

I think I ran into that chick at the emergency eye doctor yesterday. I had to remove the mud in my eye from off-roading, but her case was far more serious.

    stupid or brave??

    This guy rocks!!

  5. I hit the mud trails in my jeep yesterday & afterwards I needed to pressure wash her & I was lookin' for one of these places cuz I wanted to do it myself (cuz if you want a job done right you gotta do it yourself ;)). Instead I took her to this nicaraguan car was that I always go to on SW 26th street & 137th Ave. They do a nice job, but I always find a trace of sand or mud hidden somewhere when I get home..

now I know. Thanks Nexxus... :)

ps. do they have pressure hoses??

  7. The fact of the matter is that clus are "the toilet bowls of society". Patrons don't go there to pray. As for club employees, well I'm sure many of you have run into a load of shady industry peepz.

Clubs are jobs most of us don't need a background check to land. My point is, as hard as the club tries to keep everyone in check, eventually you'll have a bad apple or 2 in the bunch. It's a fast movin' industry with potential to make a quick buck & unfortunately some peepz get sucked into that, even if it means goin' beyond breakin' the rules as in this case. It's hard for a club owner to monitor everyone on his staff. Especially when you have a venue the size of Space 34 with over 100+ employees, not to mention the masses that step thru the gates every weekend.

It's a shame something like this had to happen. It ruined my night & for a fraction of a second there I wasn't too sure I had a job due to someone else's irrisponsibility.. or should I say stupidity?? The sad thing is, sometimes it's the peepz who you least expect it as in this case ("Richie" out of all people) & once again. In my opinion that screws it up for the rest of us. If I were Louis or George, how would I be able to trust anyone after this & other previous incidents?? :hey:

Now we're all payin' for this...

  8. Big congrats & Big ups to Diaga. The kid is talented.. with a lil' guidance some experience his future looks good. Dispite the jitters, this kid seemed really focused. No one is flawless of course, but he did do a nice job.

Started off smooth but changed the pace a bit too late in his set in my opinion. Did a few sweet turntable tricks (something the other 2 contestants lacked) that were out of the ordinary & for the most part was workin' most of his tracks. I enjoyed his set & was hawkin' every minute of it. Good job. ;)

  10. It hasn't been easy & at this point this topic remains extremely sensitive. As many of you know, Space was paid a visit by the authorities early Friday night. Many of you know what you've seen via the Media & it doesn't make us proud to get into detail regarding this situation. However, the outcome of this story is that Space 34 will Open it's doors for the Cooljunkie Spin off Final taking place this Saturday, August 16th as scheduled.

Aside from that, I thank each one of you who've stood along side us for these past few hours. Your concerns were indeed appreciated. Don't have much more to say, I Guess I'll see everyone @ Space34 tonite for a sigh of relief party. ;)

    On behalf of Space34

    Thanks again,

  11. everyone just calm down.. as Nexus & others mentioned the media is turning this into a fiasco & it's not to the degree it seems.

I have just received helpful information that will be revealed at the right time. In the meantime, think about what sneakers & baseball caps you will be wearing tomorrow night @ the Junkie Spin off. ;)

I know this sounds a lil' vague, but bare with us. We'll keep you updated.

:nono: I was thinking more along the lines of "8th Mile" the movie, or maybe we get the guy that announces the boxing/WWF matches in Vegas to introduce the dj contestants.. We're not in the 50's anymore Nick.. :blank: We need more 90's like ideas like the "8th Mile" one or the "Vegas title Match intro"..
