for the record mike mac dropped a three hour tech/tribal set at platinum on sat night with about a 20 minute trance set. there was not one ounce of vocals spun at all on sat night. i was very impressed to say the least.

Is it the vocal mix or the dub? The vocal mix is aight, but the dub is absolutely retarded! they have both been out for about a year. I never heard the vocal mix at SF but JP rocked the dub on his birthday bash last year. Can you say bonkers!!!

the system at abyss used to be sick, but i think it has now gone to shit. the last time i was there, there were no highs and the bass sounded all muffled IMO. Temps system is definitely got it going on.

Finaly someone with some common sense. It is good to finaly see someone on this board that I can speak to and they don't take it the wrong way. Constructive criticism is where it is at but obvioulsy some people on this board can't take it and find the need to make it into a drama topic. As for having a Dj as a resident four days in a row I agree with you 100%. People will get tired after a while and it can kill the place. Hopefully they will make the necessary changes.

I have been in this scence for quite some time now and like I said I used to love Hunka chunka but it does not do it for me no more. So when I go to a new club and hear music that isn't spun elsewhere I get excited and yes I will support that venue and let it be known. Bunkas.............. :rolleyes: You guys make it seem like that place is the best thing that happened since slice bread. I mean I guess to each there own, but there is only so much cheeze music that I can deal with week in and week out.

Once again I had a blast at this place. Platinum has yet to disappoint me. Opening Dj Aaron Swank unbelievable track selection and on point with his mixing. Talk about deep dark dirty evil tech. As for Mark Amatucci what can I say the kid is on point mixing wise and his programing is even better. Lots of energy and great vibe in that place the whole entire night with nothing but pretty people everywhere. I know I am a newbie and haven't posted much, but if you haven't checked out this party I strongly suggest it.

you know what, when your right, your right! their resident mark amatucci is ten times better then draper will ever be. he drops tracks in that place that you will NEVER here in Bunks or Abyss and that is why I like the place. They are not scared to take a chance and there is a good vibe in the place too.
