New York State of Mind Some folks like to get away, take a holiday from the neighborhood Hop a flight to Miami Beach or Hollywood. I'm taking a Greyhound on the Hudson River line- I'm in a New York state of mind. I seen all the movie stars in their fancy cars and their limousines, Been high in the Rockies under the evergreens, But I know what I'M needing and I don't want to waste more time- I'm in a New York state of mind. It was so easy living day by day Out of touch with the rhythm and the blues, But now I need a little give and take, The New York Times, the Daily News... It comes down to reality-and it's fine with me 'cause I've let it slide, Don't care if it's Chinatown or Riverside, I don't have any reasons, I've left them all behind- I'm in a New York state of mind. I only drink Cola in the mix....like Bacardi Lemon/ Cola on the rocks. To me a drink has to be sweet.....so if anyone knows some good cocktails, let me know ok? I mostly stick to a B-52.

I can't blame people for wearing "basic" cloths, everybody should wear what makes them feel comfortable. I can wear a designer's suit or designer's jeans and mostly I do get dressed to the ocassion...but he, it's just because I like it and looking down on people is so easy.......... but so cheap. Long live the understatements.

What took you so long? Oh I see, must be the job right? I won't go as far as saying that's Bjork's the most beautiful creature around, but she's got this high hug-factor. Watching Bjork would be something like: Wow, I wonder what surprises she brings this time...a true party-funkster. And I guess we all seem to relate to her, one way or another. She's just human in everyway, not afraid to follow her mind, not some sort of guided missile, just Bjork...and I think a lot of celebs. should try and learn something from that...stay natural..no matter where you're from.
