What's wrong with pornstars? It's a theme dedicated to females and it's for 2 weeks. There are 4 guest DJs spinning. We have Penthouse Pets and massage therapists coming in also. Should we take out the alcohol also because it doesn't have to do with the music? You're the only person making negative statements about this place since it opened. I don't get why if you haven't even been there...

And I know at least 13 people that were there that aren't 21 yet...

Bro Riddler is a really good DJ, he just plays like he has to on KTU because he gets paid to play that way. I have a connections to a lot of DJs that can rock Sandbar to the ground but I guess they have their whole summer planned out already because no one has contacted me to help out there this year. They are still great guys and I'll be over there to chill from time to time since I live up the block. Maybe even bring our party bus down one night...

There was 1 person under 21 in there last night. We know this because we take the under 21 ids at the door. That is a lot less than Joey's had last night I know that as a fact so I don't get your statement. We just like to have the option for the younger, uneducated crowd to come in and hear good music before they get brainwashed by commercial crap. It's our 1st step in rebuilding the scene within the next couple of years. Mark Tooch threw down sick last night. He is a great DJ and deserves a lot more credit than he gets. He will definatley be back. DJ Riddler was in the house and was definately feeling the underground vibe. Lots of good things to come.....

I understand where you're coming from. I honestly don't think he knew though. Even when I saw the flyer at first it didn't even cross my mind that it could possibly be affiliated until after you mentioned it. Then when I mentioned it to him he had no clue what I was talking about. I had a mishap just like this before where a friend of mine started a party and put the word "Subliminal" on the flyer. I had Erick Morillo call me up and ask to change it. I was no big deal though. I'm sure no one will lose any business from this party. It's just another place to go on Friday.

I guess you didn't understand like you said you did when I explained this the first time so I will do it again. The guy that named this party and made the flyers doesn't even know what ************.com is. He named the party Upscale to display the characterstics of the party. He wasn't gonna name it. Wear Whatever The Fuck You Want Fridays. Then wearwhateverthefuckyouwant.com would probably be the ones complaiing about it. Was that Wednesday party named "Upscale Wednesdays" or is this party named "Upscale Venue Fridays?" Because if it was that would be wrong. I'm not responsible for naming the party I'm just helping a friend promote a bar his girl works at because he doesn't know what to do and he asked for my help. I honestly don't think he knew any better but I've already informed him and he's changing the name immediately. The first thing I ever learned about this business when I was 15 was not to step on any toes. So i apologize for the name of the party causing conflict. The promotion team name is on the flyer so it don't think anyone can confuse it with having affilitaion. UplscaleVenue.com has never been mentioned in the promotion of this party. And saying the party won't last 3 weeks is nothing new to me. I've never done a party that was supposed to last. I'm just a poor kid from Jersey City and I don't have proper funding for a big party. But I've been at Euphoria Lounge on Wednesdays before Latitude even began on Wednesdays. And I'm still there now throwing a good party. I'm not one to hop on a bandwagon. I bet against the odds. It keeps me working hard...

This sounds great. I've never been to a club in LI. But I've been to Nation in DC with the same concept and I can't wait to check this out. Bob G I hope you're the one behind this party because all your parties are hot. sawe, why are you bashing a club that's not even open yet? You think people are goin to believe what your saying since you've never been there? Makes no sense. Anyways I'll be there to support my boy Nero because he produces the greatest vibe in the area...
