  11. I was always a fan of the huge 5lb life size solid chocolate bunny. They'd take about a week and 1/2 of hard work to get through and were a blast to eat - pretened you were a dinosaur or something and take bites out of the bunny's head, ears, arms ect... Peeps on the otherhand - i never liked those. When i was real young my parents would leave a basket our beds for us to wake up to complete with the cheap fake grass and our own particular bunny (I always had Benjamin Bunny from the Peter Cottontail books). One easter everyone was waiting for me to come out so we could start looking for eggs, but when my mom walked in she saw me covered in marshmello peeps and grass stuck all over my face. I had smeard them all over my head, the grass stuck and the marshmello hardened. My eyes were stuck shut, i had grass stuck all over my face and mouth and i was crying like all hell .............very very traumatizing - never been able to eat a peep since
  12. I just finished writing a huge paper on that for one of my classes -- i'm done with that book for a looooong time! I haven't had much time to read anything i'd like to - thanks to classes - but one of my all time favorite authors is Carlos Castaneda, anyone every hear of him? He was a UCLA anthropology student who went down to Mexcio to study the local life/country. He ended up meeting this old indian who was known around town for being a brujo (shaman) and the two become friends. Turns out this brujo was for real and was a student of a very ancient way of thinking. He teaches Castaneda all he knows and leads him through a very weird sort of world. The stories are the actual notes Castaneda took during the years he talked, watched and lived with this indian shaman and his trips/hallucinations he experienced while learning all sorts of ancient ways of life. It's some really interesting stuff if you're into the whole Indian/shamanism/mysticism thing.

  15. I had a great time friday night - i agree that November's show was a little better, but they still put on a great show. As soon as i walked in i was saying "Everyone will be on the stage - to the right, on the stage - to the right." but the only person on the stage was Jimmy VM, and I was sure he would have had no idea who i was. Sorry i didn't get a chance to meet up with any of you, but i'll wear a big sign next time so i can't be missed Digweed was amazing - absoluty fantastic. Sasha was awsome but i just couldn't get into his set for some reason. JVM was outstanding as well - what do we have to do to get him to play a full set around here? I'd be the first one in for that show. The only thing i wasn't too impressed with was the visuals they had on screen. Most seemed pretty repetitive and didn't fit too well with the music. There were two that really tripped me out and looked real cool - the one where there were the little tribal figures walking out of the fire very slowly - kinda creepy actually and the other that looked like an old school video game with a space ship shooting down aliens (the whole crowd went nuts when that one popped up) In case anyone was wondering here's a very, very small tracklist. If anyone can add to this please do -- Envy - Falling (dub) Lustral - Everytime (yunnis/mavi mix) Sasha - Wavy Gravy (the last track of the night OUTSTANDING!!!) Bedrock - Forged Envelope - Packet (acetate) Weekend Players - Into The Sun (chab dub) Madoka - Dive Underworld - Dark and Long (some new reworking) Schmuel - Chilling Moments Pete Lazonboy - Wave Speech ??? - Loverman (blackwatch mix) 2nd Hand Satellites - Orbit
  16. A friend of mine called me from Sona in Montreal at 1:30 this morning - he was yelling over the speakers and saying how the past few hours had been an religous experience -- i couldn't tell for sure but it sounded like Heaven Scent in the background, God this is goin to be a great show!!!
  17. By this time tomorrow the phazons will be blastin our ears, the lazers will be blindin our eyes and S&D will be kickin our asses. I'm going to be bouncing off the walls all day tomorrow
  18. How simple!!! There's no way my professors can argue with that!
  19. Anyone here ever watch this show?? It's the most tripped out cartoon i think i've ever seen and so friggin funny too. The way that meatball talks makes me roll on the floor. If this was the kind of saturday morning cartoons i had when i was a kid i'd be a messed up individual! If you haven't seen it yet it's on real late night on Cartoon Network on Sundays and i think Thursdays at around midnight.
