While I was at work last night at the NBA, I heard from others that if the Orlando Magic did not win that night, their coach, Glenn "Doc" Rivers would be fired. They had lost 9 straight, were just doing horribly this year. In years past, they had never gone beyond the first round of the playoffs, even with one of the top 5 players in the game, T-Mac. Anyway, as the game came down to the end vs Utah, we all came over to watch . . . in the end, the Magic lost off a shot from a guy who didn't even have his name on his jersey. Someone had heard that the team president was going to come down and personally escort Doc Rivers off the court, but alas that didn't happen. There was no word last night about his future as a coach. . .when I turned the computer on today, guess what i found? Orlando Magic fire Rivers after 1-10 start :laugh: :laugh:

One club when I was in Baltimore at school always did that shit. . .didnt help everyone wore the same coats. . . I used to walk there, and it would get out at 5am, so didnt care how i looked. . .I rocked the giant gray-hooded sweatshirt, and the girl i went with put her sweatshirt she wore inside of mine. When end of night, I could see my hoody amidst everything, just would say "gray hooded sweatshirt" . . . Oh, and small claims is legit in this case, irrespective of signage. . .there was a situation with one of my friends back in the day similarly where it worked

The PHX started as their third jerseys, yet they're wearing em like 3 or 4 times so far, I worked 2 games with those shitty jerseys. . . The Mavericks jerseys worn the first night, I haven't seen em since. I remember seeing Finley after playing the entire 2nd q walking off the court, the entire back of the jersey was dark and look sweatstained . . .just a bad jersey . . .

I have been a fan of Pac since back in the back in the day, ie 1990. . . first editions of all Digital Underground stuff, then solo with 2pacalaypse now, etc etc. . . .just thought he was a lyrical genius, just a great intellectual. Great actor, great man. . . hell I still think he's alive, I was expecting a resurrection of sorts at the millenium or a few months back.

I had that happen, had ancient pocket organizer that beeped to tell me it was low battery . . .

I changed jobs, switching to working, on average, 8pm-4am (video editing, NBA), as a result I've changed up my entire eating cycle, sleep cycle, and workout cycle . . . I hit the gym 4 times a week, eat a lot less, and am getting in much better shape. Within the span of a month my body fat has gone down 2% and my bench press is up 40 lbs, no signs of slowing down. I always thought that I'd never get rid of the rest of the fat, actually looked into lipo or some shit, or some random pills (trimspa!) but sometimes just a change of lifestyle can make you get into much better shape. Surgery is all well and good, but getting rid of that fat makes a big difference too Of course, working lots of weekend nights makes finding new women much tougher

I don't see either of them being the next Jordan, but not the next Harold Miner either. . . People talk about James like he could be the next Magic, a big PG, great court vision, charisma, etc. . . standard rule for me is don't believe the hype I've seen LeBron and Melo both play 2 games, one each and the one against each other. . . sometimes good, sometimes bad. The question is, in 3-4 years, will they be in a situation to have good teammates and will they make those teammates better? Jordan wasnt shit without Pip and the rest. . . Right now T-Mac and Garnett are amazing players, but they don't elevate the rest of their teams. Of any team game, bball makes the biggest difference of having a team team, one man can fuck it up. Quality of any player is important, but what he has to work with on his team is more important . . . McGrady can be one of the best players in NBA history, but he needs to have more than just Juwanna Howard on his team. . .
