Tried every place imaginable and all weren't that good. Went to Metro, the music was good, the place was empty. Went to Caruso's, decent @ best I would say. I was going to go to Joey's but figured it would suck, so I went to Company B's and sat there for exactly one minute with a truck driver and a lady straight out of 1980 with her big hair, bangs, smoking a newport 100, and she probably rolled up in a 1978 Camaro. What is wrong with Thursdays now. Used to be awesome to go out on thursdays?? Is there anything good??

Very classy response. Obviously I am being sarcastic. Don't you agree with me on this: being a DJ / "performer" gives the public the right to critize you?? If you can't take the critisism then don't DJ. But as for you saying "they keep booking me" or "XS Resident" that is pretty unprofessional. Everybody is entitled to a bad day, but the true characters can admit if they had a bad day. They don't throw a radio spot in the publics face! Forget DJ school, if you keep acting like this take some public relaitons courses and learn how to act accordingly! You might be a good on air personality, but thats not what is being judged here! NAd you're great response should definitley make the public respect you more...Being confident is one thing, and being arrogant is another, learn how to differentiate!

I was in LA this wekend on business, and got to stay until tuesday. I checked out the scene. being form NY I had my doubts, But I'll bow down and admit you guys have some nice venues there. Checked out Sky Bar (very nice), Sunday went to Manhattan Beach to a place called Sharkey's (very nice). But hands down the best time I had was @ Joseph's on Monday. That place is def cool! LA surprised me!

I personally don't like it. Luckily I have no problem getting in, and still it sucks. There is no vibe whats so ever, a bunch of "posers" trying to out do the person next to them. As far as celebs go, so you see them in there drinking, who cares...They are just people no?? Bottom line, if you like a stuck up place where everyone is wound to tight go there. If you like a place that has a good vibe and good crowd, stay away form there!
