  1. Why? It's a quality bomb. It'll be one of the tracks of the year once it's released on Stereo Productions.
  2. Undecided right now, will be booking soon though. . . Most likely at El Corso in Talamanca, near Pacha. Also considering Jet and Torre del Mar both in Playa d'en Bossa.
  3. Will most likely be there July 20-31. Bora Bora is not closed. They will be reopening in late May, with music.
  4. John Creamer & Stephane K - Forget the World
  5. And he doesn't play the same way in Europe. He drops the FUNK here!
  6. Cause it's Mobb Deep's - Cobra. Only thing I thought was interesting about 50s response was this quasi-threat of buying Jadakiss's publishing rights from P-Diddy. Don't see that happening though, 'beef' sells (as weak as this beef is).
  7. Already a member there. I was referring to Tenax, the nightclub in Italy.
  8. Global Gathering is in Warwickshire, which is near Birmingham. As for Amsterdam, I normally stay at the Victoria Hotel. It's right across from Central Station and about a 5 minute walk from the Red Light District--nice hotel. Wherever you do decide to stay, like someone said, don't stay near the Arena. You're better off staying in the city center and taking a train out to the Arena. Coffeshops - If you had to visit one shop and only one, check out GREENHOUSE (as opposed to Greenhouse Centrum). Greenhouse has some of the best herb in Amsterdam, is a perennial winner of the cannabis cup awards and is where celebrity potheads like Woody Harrelson go. Be sure to try the Hawaiian Snow there. I agree, you don't need to stay in Amsterdam more than three days. It's a small city, and there's not a whole lot to do there besides getting caned. More than 3 days is overkill. I do visit there frequently, but I still think it's somewhat of a shithole compared to other major European cities.
  9. When Danny was in London he said he would be touring Italy this year and mentioned Florence, Naples and Rimini. No more info as of now. Does Tenax have a web site?
  10. April 29th? Carl Cox is playing at Heaven that night (it's normally a gay club, but not for this party). It's his first time playing London in over 2 years. If you decide to go, buy presales, it will be rammed: http://www.heaven-london.com/tickets/details.asp?eID=222
  11. Keep up the good work esp. at Stereo. I don't know if you remember Marco Militello. DJ from Rome, lived in NYC, became a lawyer at my firm. He says hi. When we open up our club in Rome years from now we'll be giving you a call.
  12. Yeah, that's some dude I used to see at DT parties all the time. lol
  13. By the way, nice seeing/meeting/hanging with Sue, Mary Ann, Sabino, Serge, Marissa, Justin, Arges, Drew, Gabe, Alan, Kimmee, Eliseo, Rosa, Tony, Chasity, Nadia, Cheryl, Nikita, Fabio, Mikey Numbers, Cynthia (well, sorta lol) and so many others whose names escape me right now. All you guys helped make my night. That was the most fun I've had in New York since DT @ Cielo back in October. I just got back to London and heading straight to work. Shoot me.
  14. Shirt of the night was the chick we saw in coat check whose shirt said "Will Give Blowjobs for Bumps". Classy.
  15. That for me was def. the lowlight of the night. P. Diddy just needs to STFU. Some things that work in a hip hop concert don't work in a house club. Also, when Morilllo mixed the 50 Cent track in the middle of DJ Vibe and Peter tha Zouk - Solid Texture, sorry, but that was horrible. I'm sure Erick was playing up to the P Diddy/Ja Rule entourage. Otherwise had a blast. I do like hard beats, but the music was a little too hard and monotonous at times, but overall I enjoyed the set/had a great time sans the horrific leg cramps. He dropped a lot of bass heavy bombs, and old school tracks as well, like Music is the Answer etc. I thought the music got better the later into the morning it got. Not the typical Crobar crowd. The place looked like Sound Factory, which ain't too surprising since that crowd comprises a big part of his fan base. Fun party though, especially after the place cleared out somewhat and there was room to dance. Good seeing everyone again and meeting some new people. Lata.
  16. I'd recognize those dance steps anywhere. Nice work brotha.
  17. SICK! Where are the loft party details btw?
  18. I agree, but handing out a couple of hundred cupcakes with lit birthday candles on them to people whacked out their minds on drugs wasn't smartest idea when you have the place well above overcapacity, especially with the floor being wet. And just from a more pragmatic standpoint, it was ridiculously uncomfortable in there. I couldn't go more than 30 seconds without being bumped or slammed into.
  19. Personally, I thought it was terrible. First time hearing JP for me in 3 years. Before that, I was a big JP fan. If I didn't have good company with me , I would have walked out after 2 hours. JP's track selection was atrocious. He played a number of tracks that sounded straight off of a cheesy trance compilation. He's still playing some tracks that need to have their throats slit and buried permanently. GTI 2005, or whatever it's called, isn't house, it ain't techno, it's just straight up noise that makes my ears bleed, yet the crowd still goes bonkers for the track. Go figure. Too bad I was sober, if I had had a few jars, pills and a few hits of acid, I may have thought the music was halfway decent. I thought his set did have its moments, but those moments were few and far between. As for the crowd, by far the worst aspect of the night. It was crowded beyond a safe capacity (I guess 'fire hazzard' means nothing to Spirit) and the floor was slippery from people walking in with snow on their shoes. I saw a number of people bust their asses or colliding into other people. It seemed like everyone wanted to throw down if you so much as bumped into them. Calm down asshole. For the most part it was filled with a bunch of degenerates (old school and new school), former dealers from the Factory days, people who cleaned out the local Walmart of hair gel, wannabe thugs, sweaty meatheads doing the Factory shuffle like it's still in style and a plethora of underage sluts. The whole place seemed like a bizarro world hybrid version of Growing Up Gotti meets American Gladiator meets Menace 2 Society meets Barely Legal 3. Nevertheless, I did have a good time, but it had little to do with the music or the crowd. On one positive note, the sound system does rock. It doesn't come close to Twilo, but it has some serious bass, with great clarity. I'd love to see what somewhat like Carl Cox could do on that system.
  20. Welcome Good description of Fabric and how it's different from New York clubs. I was actually at Fabric that night. Very good night indeed. . .
