The thing you have to keep in mind is that no contest is going to make you a dj... that you have to find on your own. I'm thankfull for having participated in this contest just for the fun of it and for being able to spin at top notch dj booths etc... Take it as a plus instead of a minus.

Djíng is good even though the clubs are shit. I have 2 residencies a month that I really enjoy (one more loungy/housier) and the other you would really enjoy (more techno oriented) at a place called Belle Epoque. Venue was amazing, huge place called "el partenon"(huge roman looking structure that fits up to 5000 people). Place was packed by 12am. Sasha get on the TT's by 1am with a melodic opener and then follows up with an agressive tech houser. Really impressed by his set and mixing. In the press conference I made sure he knew that Caracas is a house and techno scene and his set sure sounded like that. A couple of melodic tracks thoughout the night but it was mostly funky business in that huge main room. Lots of long atmospheric breakdowns followed by a huge bang of techno sounding tracks, people danced preety much every track of his set. He played some damaging big room german tracks that demolished the place. He also played some good guitar tracks with big claps that caught my attention. Hope you guys enjoyed the review..... much more to come from this growing scene in Caracas. Peace, Oscar.

Thanks guys. Really happy with the set last Friday and I'm glad people enjoyed it like I did. I was kind of a sad night for me but also a happy one since everything went so well. Very impressed with Desyn's set! I think he saw what type of music goes down with PM Sessions and adjusted his set very well. Never really heard him play that style.... funky, electo-ie, and old school sounding toons at some points of the night= sick set. Never got proggy even though he did test a couple of proggy bombs to see how they went down, though he stuck arouind with the funk as his main plan. Want to say thanks to Marco/Carla for letting me play this gig and all the others. Hopefully there will be many more to come! Oscar. Proud Dj of PM Sessions and its' future.

Yo YO. Just wanted to say thanks to all who came to listen to me play these last 3 yrs or so. For those who are asking yourself "why the hell is he going back to Venezual!???". With the siuation so shitty right now it seems imposible anyone could be moving there. It's a combination of diff. things really.... I just graduated, I 've been away from my city for 13 yrs., I need to establish myself a bit in South America, since I've been playing here I haven't had the chance to play there that much (i feel like i'm dissin' my country!) Besides those there's many more but I 'd bore all you to death. I'll be back though, I'll come back for very important events and to see all you peeps too!!! Thanks for your'e support and don't forget to stop by at least for a drink this next Friday. Can't wait for top notch house in both rooms with Lyrik playing the terrace. Great to see all of you there. Very happy with Hishams set last night. I admire this guy because he's patient with his set. He played very German and never played hard really, energetic though. To me his biggest assets are taste and knowing when exactly to drop the record in the precise minute of the night. He impressed me at the afterhrs. @ JOe's, but last night he showed he can be a great Headliner and most importantly the potential he has. Without a doubt he has a long road ahead of him, but a bright one for shure.
