    ibiza 2004

I'll be there. August though. Think I'm might play in 1 party (small I think) in Palma & 1 in Ibiza. I'll let you guys know. IN Ibiza i recommend "The underground". It's in my opinion the best music club in the Island. Last yrs resident---> Craig Richards!!!!! Lee was also going back and forth all the time and playing along many lesser known artis as well as some big including richie hawtin. Many incredible spanish underground djs and basically a great afterhrs party besides dc-10 and the others. Mr. and Mrs Blend, no se pierdan este after!! Like i said... I'll be there in August for a week, maybe more.... who knows?
  2. If your'e not there now, head on over..... or you'll be sorry. Last call for sick breaks.... going....going...... gone.
  3. If anyone is also interested in good progressive and house from 1999 till today, I have tons of older and not so old recs. that are still danm good. Lots of West Coast house+ tech-house, tons of American+ British stuff. Please let me know. Good prices available. Only Vyni;) Pm me or write to fonse89@hotmail.com peace.
  4. Anyone interested in a big trance + progeressive collection?1997-1999 more or less. Lots of hard german trance, tech trance, progressive house, house, and everything in between. Many of the anthems and lots of underground tracks+ white labels. I'll be reasonable with prices--> from 5-8 bucks. PM me or write to fonse89@hotmail.com thanx.
  5. Josh Wink. But somewhere else besides Crobar. If he comes back and desides to play what he played during wmc at Mynt.... many people will agree with me. Bring him to Privilege please!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Incredible set. Never thought he would play his fabric set at nerve. He played mostly a german set which I never thought he would do. Many trapez and caufield tracks, lost of electro tracks, absolutely no progressive, and just plain and simple serious music. He described the crowd as " good people" meaning the amount of industry that assisted the party(sasha, quiver, three,etc...). This allowed him to play what he plays in London, and let me tell you; conference crowd danced through every track he played. Wish it was like that allways. Never seen Nerve that packed and people where really energetic even though the party was towards the end of WMC. Hope he comes back soon.
  7. Saleen is intimidated by Latins.... thats funny, in his own country. I guess we have taken over this shit.
  8. anyone record the Monkey party last tuesday???? Lee + James????
  9. 1. Josh Wink @ Mynt. (d'julz also kicked ass) 2. Lee Burridge @ Nerve. (left zabiela yrs. behind) 3. Dirty Gringos @ Joe Boudiou's after hrs. set. (very serious set by Hisham and Dennis) A great highlight for me this conference was being able to listen to techy stuff all over the place. It was quirky madness almost everywhere I went!!! Great change from last yr. The biggest highlight I'd say would be all the small parties that went off at intimate dancefloors.
  10. Mazi played a good set off really chunky stuff. From retro recs. to banging funky house, from tech-house to some tribal bombs. Crossed different genres with ease and maintained a good energy level. Privilege looked good, all 3 rooms where pretty packed with people and with a good vibe. Keep em' coming. Oscar.
  11. Rolly played a rocking set 2 saturdays ago, real funky, housey, and no proggy stuff at all!!!!! Played a bunch of of good twisted vocal tracks that had me groovin'. Trying to figure out the name of a track Rolly played that day and I've been hearing Howells play for a long time... male vocal sample that says " kenchabi ... play something else. play something else ... play something else" in a repetitive kinda way. Nice techy track I've been wanting to get my hands on for a while. If Rolly, Biz. or anyone else knows......please PM me or let me know. Peace, Oscar.
  12. CAn't wait!! Hope he brings all that chunky house/ tribal bombs he drops as well as the more clasic sound too...and some banging tripp'd out techno too! The venue is perfect for a sick night of sleazy house, techhouse, and whatever Mazi decides to bring into play. Should be a great night. See you all there Oscar.
  13. Not this yr. Mazi @ Privilega along OscarFonseca. Chris & Mono on the Terrace. Don't miss on thissss!!
  14. Really psyched to see what Mazi will have for us this time around in a bigger dancefloor. Heard he destroyed Home in Lima last weekend which is indeed a rather large room. Can't wait!!!!!!
  15. I hope not! It was nice meeting you the other day. So how is this party on fri. nights? Was thinking of stoping by envy and saying hi to the usuals, but who knows. Ciao C, take care. Oscar.
  16. Got me there buddy! I might stop in tonight to chill with you guys once again. Peace Bruno, Oscar. (pd. liked that mistery track you dropped the other day, hope to hearn some new ones!!)
  17. Thanks Lyrik. I mean it. Specially coming from a person that I know the knows a thing or 2 about music. I feel really honored to hear something like that man. Gives me hope! Never thought a bbq. could end up in a banging house party like that! See you at mazi or next bbq. Peace, Oscar.
  18. Yeah Yeah it's late for a review + nobody wants to hear about the bbq anymore I know. Just wanted to say that never in my life would I have thought that it was going to be like that. The whole property was amazing for a party/bbq, it reminded me of the good ol' days in Venezuela. Incredible to see so many people there for the music, friendships, etc.. very good vibe indeed. I was to supposed to play early but couldn't show up. Missed, Jimmy's, Domingo's,Cloe's, and Lyrik's set!! Had a great time spinning with Blendprod and hanging out/meeting a bunch of new people. Sorry we bumped you (the dj who spun after us). Great sets of all types of music, no matter what style it was.. it was quality. Congrats to all the dj's and see you around some time soon. To the hosts of the party ... I only met Flip...thanks!! Oscar.
  19. Good question Philemon. To be honest i don't know which is better...both cd 1's are my favorite of his compilation work. I love and share his mixing style... agressive and taking risks all the time(more techno orriented). His live sets have much more tweaking, cutting, and turntablizm. He drops mad effects, accapellas, and trumpet samples over his already impresive selections of vynil and cd. My favorite dj to the moment...don't know why i identify so much with him and his style.... I like almost every record he drops plus the way he moves the dancefloor. Even though his style is not that polular and and you can't see huge reactions in the floor, its the naughtiness, twistedness, and funkyness of his house and breakbeat that drives me mad. You want to find me Tues. March 9th.... I'll be @ Nerve's dance flo'. Oscar.
  20. I'll be the geek stomping my feet!!! c ya all there. Oscar.
  21. Congratulations Lyrik..... I know you'll be droping the proper shit.... hope to see you play some time soon. C ya at the bbq. Peace and best of luck. Oscar.
  22. Good house and techy tribal sound of his own going. He balances his dancefloor well by playing quality tracks and remaining faithfull to what his dancefloor needs. The future is ahead.
  23. sounds like the best plan for a cold sat night. enjoy it...
