  1. Ivano played very well at the old living room downtown..... whoo..what a venue, and soundsystem. To be honest in more than 6-7 years watching IB play, I v'e nerver seen his dancefloor unhappy or empty. He's a master at reading a dancelfoor and rarely if never has off mixes. (maybe 1 or 2 /yr.) You might not like every single record he plays...but thats what the crowd here wants really.
  2. Laurent Garnier, Terry Francis(believe it or not...he plays some hard tech house and techno too), Stryke, Ricardo Villalobos & Richie Hawtin (together), Danilo Vigorito(heard he teared things up last time). These dj's...in no specific order is my wish list for 04'.

    TECHNO mix

really diggin the mix.... would work really good at privilege...
  4. No doubt! Come to the "Hang ON!!" party this Thurs. jan 1st @ 1pm. There's a nice lineup that includes Juan in one of Miamis' top parties. Show up or regret it later.
  5. Last night was great. I thought i spun like shit... but I have bad nights once in a while too! Honestly, I don't even know how I made it there.... I had been lying in bed for 2 days straight sick as hell. I thought domingo ripped it appart... never have I seen him playing so techy, clicky, etc.......unbelievable!!...it was a mix of deep-techyhouse, minimal house, some housey tech house, and funky minimal breaks all night...!!!!!! One of the best music nights I have been out to in 2003 to be honest....not because I was playing, just because of the type of stuff that can be layed down at that lil' lounge. Thanks to Ramon and Domingo, it was a pleasure... Peace. O.
  6. Completely agree w/ vaughanz + ekittel... jazz is the shit for some nights in the car. Usually listen to 91.3. They play good jazz after a certain hr., during the day they play something else. As mentioned before there's plenty of stations where they play good salsa and cuban rythms. Always try to jam to something else in the car besides banging stuff... usaully go with a more relaxed type of drive... kruder and dorfmeister hasn't left my car in 6yrs or so....just don't get boared of them.
  7. did it all for the nookie..... knooky... nuki.... whatever....don't even know how to spell it.
  8. 1. lee burridge@nerve. 2. lee burrdige@orlando. 3. miguel migs@nerve. 4.christian smith@ space(patio set last conference) 5. Layo @ Bushwaka @ Nerve. (many may dissagree.. still one of the best music night this yr. for me personally).
  9. Anyone know about lee burridge and wmc this yr? is he in any lineup? I know he didn't want to come last yr. because of miami's prices during wmc. Rsvp.
  10. better late than never... hbd lola...... and many more to come! Oscar.
  11. Sorry ekitel ... really thought the track would work well there and had it in my box, just didn't have the time! Well...some other time buddy. There where so many tracks that when I got home I said "shit, why didn't I pull this one out!!!!". Really enjoyed the set and the party. The place is really making an attempt to play something a bit different than the other clubs and I give them props for that. One or another classic rec. or one or anther record-of-the moment to let the crowd breath ...but the night basically consists of new sounds, new rmxs, etc.. ... lots of tribal beats thrown in but with a tougher edge..serious stuff that people dance right through. Thanks for the chance.... Cue, Amalia, and Stephan.

    Cuba

ummmm, 95% of americas wish miami would go back to being a "retirement" city... second off, how hard is it to kill someone when two radio jocks got him on the phone third, many many many cubans tell me in private the reason why cuban is the way it is, is because most cubans support castro and it has little to do with brain washing. Blame your people for being really dumb...Lets face it when god handed out intelect, cubans were last in line... Being cuban is a handipcap.... And us americans understand that, so we let you come here and live off of our tax money for free while you learn no english and bring our property values down and couple that with rasing kids who won't contribute to any thing outside of dade county because they lack the skills to do so and perception of cubans outside union city nj and dade county is they are trash. PLEASE KILL CASTRO AND ALL OF YOU CUBANS MOVE THE FUCK BACK THERE!!!!!!!! Yo ... Saleen can sound so stupid sometimes man. Miami is the no 4 city to shop in the U.S. why...because of Latin people. Miami is the no. 2 city for Chinese investment, why, because of its internationality... Miami is the no. 1 capital for South American investment...why, because of Cubans and other hispanics moving over here. Miami is the #2 city for investment worldwide behind NYC ..why, because the latins. Face it... us Latins are the reason why this city is the way it is. In 10-15 yrs it has become the #1 destination for people to travel int he U.S. and many places in Latin America. Much of this comes due to the Cubans moving here and giving it the spanish flava its got. Many of us are educated, we are international, we speak 2-3 languages, we think of the world as a global structure and economy with opportunities for everyone...(and we take them) So if you can't handle the pressure of others coming to your country and taking your jobs...you better go back to school and learn some shit(spanish if you want a future here). This city needs people like us...who speak many languages and can deal with people wanting to invest here. Face it ....this city is for international investment...if you can't compete with the latins....go back to guido town. This is an international city and it's what makes it the way it is . NO one wants this to be a retirement home, at least no one who is young...where's the money in a retirement ghost town like it was before anyways? There's opportunites everywhere.....specially when money is being pumped in from the rest of the world. Latins are not going away..in fact..theyr'e the biggest ethnic group behind anglo's for the next hundreds of yrs. or so. So wake up...smell the "colombian" coffee and youll be doing 1000 guido pumps per minute.
  13. gettn' my groove on, smoke on, etc.. as we speak..
  14. What a trio! Sounds like an incredible set. Really anxious to see what kind of stuf these guy threw down in Lima....cause what they had for us here was dynamite!
  15. thanks to vich & berger for this outstanding rmx... acid funk in the house...
  16. Incredible night!!!! Club looked great, crowd was amazing and knowledgeable of house. Music was at another level. Probably the most serious deep house set I've ever heard. Some classic tracks, some techy deep house tracks, some breaky tracks, some bootleg tracks, even some electro-ie ones. Simply serious music for a serious, more mature crowd.
  17. Any dj. with 10yrs + experience should be a "professional". Any dj. with some experience in the booth wouldn't trainwreck all night ...record after record. Your'e talking of a bad night....I'm talking about a bad mixer. How doe's following infusion or any other act influence the way you perform?? It shouldn't....specially if your'e a pro.
  18. Pics?? Don't know her but know she's cool.
  19. I don't understand how people still go to Seaman. Not to bring him down...but, the last time he was here when he played after Infusion... he didn't even match beats all night...in fact ...he trainwrecked all night. His records where commercial, of bad taste, he missread the dancefloor...and ended up clearing it. For crying out loud.....he's burnt out. There's no magic behind him anymore..... its not the groovejet days.
  20. Address is 2026 North Miami Ave(parallel to biscayne blvd). No cover all night. e kitell_> 10-11 o fonseca_> 11-1 e kitell_> 1-? see ya there!
  21. jejeje... hope so.... It's all 'bout the music here.... no dress attire, rules, or strict policies.... just quality house.
  22. Saturday night Slak Lounge presents Erik Kittel & Oscar Fonseca. These 2 dj's have been trying to play together @ this venue for a while now. If your'e into deep funky quirky electro house..... come to Slak this sat and you'll be in for a serious house set. NO COVER ALL NIGHT!!!! Peace.

    Cerati!!!

The lead singer from probably the best latin rock band ever. They are separated now and he goes solo under his name "gustavo cerati". Incredible band, style, live performances, etc..
