Keep in mind guys that the first time you click on a new file which is on my web server, "temporary internet files" (cookies) will load to your "temporary internet folder" which is why you see a download in progress. This is done so that the next time you click on the link it instantly loads. My site wasn't really built for individuals who have 56k modems (slow internet) or less. Most sites only give sound samples in "RMA" (Real Media Player) and "WMA" (Windows Media Player) which is much faster to upload but the sound quality isn't as good as the MP3's which I use. While others only provide sounds samples, I provide the full tracks for full enjoyment and appreciation. I could use other formats which load quicker but I myself prefer higher quality sounds. I myself have a T1 at work and DSL at home but just so you know. A T1 doesn't necessarily mean that you will have super fast internet. It just means that you connection will be very reliable and difficult to be disconnected. Sorry you didn't like it Eric but keep in mind that this track is about 6-7 years old. I would send you some funky breaks but to be honest with you I really do not invest much time on the funkier side of breaks. The breaks I own are more progressive and melodic. Sorry Here is a hint for those of you trying to figure out the artist and title of this track. This track was one of the first tracks ever pressed on the FRAGRANT label. Someone impress me!!!!!!!

A month ago or so we threw some events at Pearl Champaign Lounge and Joey purposely threw down a progressive breaks set that was complimented by many. Even the managers. If an elegant place such as Pearl can appreciate some intelligent sounding breaks then why can others which are not so elegant????????? Breaks are a must in my eyes. Especially at the peak of ones set. Just my thoughts. OBBY

Saleen (Nostradamus) my friend, I understand this is what you want and wish for and to be honest with you I hope you get it just so that individuals such as yourself will finally have a place/club in Miami to call home. What would be better than a city that offers a large variety of music to please the diverse population and cultures? BUT....... I myself will not change my ways due to a "revolution" which you are predicting. I buy my vinyls for my pleasure, for my cravings (which you can do the same to please your needs) and I am not trying to sound greedy. If my pleasures and cravings please the ears of others then by all means, my sounds are here to be shared. Some dj's buy whatever sounds will put food on their table which is understandable but do not confuse me for one of those. I will, though, keep an open mind (unlike others) and hope that such places which you desire do establish JUST to please individuals such as yourself and hopefully put a halt on all this New York is better than Miami and vice versa bullshit. I will continue to purchase my vinyls directly from the UK, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, Japan etc etc etc......and I will do this because that is where I find the sounds which I consider to be "advanced". I'll be honest with you, I love these discussions just for the simple fact that 15 years ago I could not have these discussions with anyone here in Miami. There is always something to do and nothing is ever too far away. Tonight I will go have dinner at an excellent restaurant called TAO, which is in Midtown Manhattan, to then check out Darren Emerson at Avalon which I am sure will be “my cup of teaâ€. It seems like Avalon would be my second home if I lived here in New York (not to mention the private loft parties). I pretty much spent the whole day today at Satellite Records considering that Eight Ball Records is no longer. Yes, you read right. Eight Ball Records is no longer.
