Maybe you missed it.... Paul van Dyk!!! The Giant event in question is part of the Hollywood Blvd party AFAIK. And wouldn't you know, it looks like I'm going to be stuck in NYC for New Years. Now that may not sound so bad, but I'll be WORKING and may not even be able to party NYE. Oh man, PVD... I can't believe I'm missing him AGAIN! Excuse me while I close my eyes and think back to PVD in Ibiza this summer.

What can I say... I'm hardcore! I actually had a good time... Freaky Flow 'n Flip Side blew my mind, making all whole ordeal worth it. If there were as many people as in previous years it may have sucked though. The coolest part was having four pills in my pocket and not taking any - even though the people I was with were looking pretty damn happy... That's totally unprecedented, and I think it means I'm all grown up.

Yep, still on crutches - you can ask Weyes! She spotted me at Monster Massive crutchin' along. I haven't decided if I'm going to make Tiesto or not. The thought of driving home two hours at 2:00 in the morning isn't a plesent one... And staying down there isn't an option because I crashed my roommates car and he needs it! ARRRG! Trust me, I know about following the cash, congrats on the new position. So does that mean we missed the opportunity to grab lunch, or are you around this week?

I've wanted to see Deep Dish for a long time but just keep on missing them! Oh well, so much talent, so little time. I've been out and about, despite the pleadings of my mother and my better judgement. My doctor would be a bit perturbed if he knew I spent Saturday night up on the barricades in front of Anne Savage and Freaky Flow just dancin' my little ass away on one foot. Hell ya... Tiesto at Montage in what, 56 hours? Sure, Digweed is playing the same night, but BOOOORING. BTW, someone mentioned buying pre-sale for Spundae, but that isn't enough. When big names talent is there you still need to make sure you get there really early or you may not get in even *WITH* your presale. I was in line with a few people from the board who bought tickets but they didn't make it in....

I have a bad one... Distractions while driving Saturday night on the way home from a good time at a club. The music is going and everyone in the car is all amped, including a girl with a tendency to flash people while driving through Hollywood. Now I admit, I should be able to ignore this, but unfortunately I am a straight male and this girl is pretty stacked... The window goes down, the shirt goes up, I look back and SLAM - rear-end a Jeep Cherokee. DOH!

"Corsten" refered to the DJ/Producer Ferry Corsten who played an awesome uplifting trance set at Spundae over the weekend. My favorite trance track *EVER* is Veracocha - Carte Blanche - a collaborative effort between Corsten and artist Vincent De Moor. Corsten also produced Out of the Blue under the "System F" monkier in '99 and teamed up with DJ Tiesto as Gouryella producing some more classics. Oh, hardwood floor... Spinning Heel Hook Kicks... Sweaty feet... Lack of concentration... Turns out the force of gravity combined with the rotational inertia of a body spinning horizontally in mid air and slamming into the hard wood floor in the right position will, well, it'll break things.

The 405 between National and the 710 was the bane of my existence for three years... It's REALLY annoying having to schedule your life around traffic patterns!!! It's amazing how much my quality of life improved by moving from South Orange County to the LA area! You know, the 101 & 10 suck really, really bad as well, but my limited exposure to them depreciates my hatred.
