LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA OCTOBER 21, 2004-- LALate.com, the most successful company on nightlifestyle in LA, this month publishes its 150th edition of its LALate Newsletter, that most talked about newsletter for LA nightlifestyle. LALate - with spinoff sites ******.com and TeenLate.com - is the preeminent authority on nightlifestyle with one of the fastest growing followings of clubgoers in the United States. In a word, as Zagat's is to restaurants and Frodor's is to travelling, LALate is to nightlifestyle. LALate is the first ever one-stop websites for residents to get into the most exclusive VIP-only parties listing several dozen events sometimes per night featuring top A+ celebrities, from mansion parties to top LA venues, to secret thousand person warehouse parties with acts that rival major stadium performances. From its launch, LALate began publishing to its readers a weekly and often bi and tri-weekly newsletter providing details never before seen in the nightlifestyle scene. LALate didn't just review the crowd at the venue, it reviewed the decore, the floorplan, the door operations, and that was just the beginning. It covered trends in nightlife fashion, featuring clothing line Von Dutch months before its recent height in LA popularity; automobiles, featuring the Porsche Cayenne months before it ever arrived in U.S. showrooms. LALate, in short, quickly gained in popularity by having a keen eye to not only report, but also predict, trends in nightlifestyle, constantly endeavoring to capture trends, not fads, reporting on everything from Ralph Lauren accessories to men's cologne. "We didn't just tell you what went on in White Lotus; we told you how people looked, dressed, what they drove. And what readers loved is how we reported from a mass cross section of venues, from red carpet warehouse parties in the dark empty streets of Downtown LA to A+ venues in Beverly Hills, to present everything that is bursting to the forefront, not just in one scene, but across the nightlifestyle arena", says LALate.com. As the top destination for LA residents to get access to guestlist VIP only parties and save a fortune on nightlife, LALate has one of the largest memberships of clubgoers in Los Angeles history. LALate has built its nationally recognized success on the happiness its service brings its patrons night after night, publishing this most talked about weekly newsletter in Los Angeles. Virtually every top promoted event is listed with LALate.com, the list is endless: A+ venues (like White Lotus, Ivar, Forbidden City, Spider Room, El Centro), private onetime red carpet warehouse parties, live performance events (Maya, Lil Kim, Ludacris), celebrity hosted nights (Chris Judd, Tyson Beckford), guestlist only fashion events (Agnes B, Horn Berlin). LALate is even into venues before anyone else - Forbidden City (2003) and 9000 Lounge (2003) - reviewing these venues for Los Angeles. But with so many events, nearly four dozen events on its calendar per week, LALate reduces those events to two of the most talked about charts in LA nightlifestyle: the "LALate 7-Day Planner Chart" and "LALate Hot @ 9 Chart". Its online nationally syndicated and branded "LALate 7-Day Planner Chart" and "LALate Hot @ 9 Chart" give up to the minute information about what's hot and what's not, along with several "LALate Best Of" award nominations announced by LALate throughout year for holidays (NYE, Halloween) and seasons (Summer, Fall). The LALate 7-Day Planner, the most talked about event planner in LA, takes the best of all those parties and chooses which one venue you should party at each night. If you were to party at only one place, this is where you should go that night. Similarly, if you wanted to be at a special party at 9pm each night of the week, the LALate Hot @ 9 Chart lists those parties, special venues, or special one-time or generally nonconsecutive parties. With a market saturation of readers estimated at over 85% of VIP clubgoers in Los Angeles, LALate's newsletter this week marks its 152 edition with the following events included in its list of nearly 6 dozen events, alone, this week: Monday Monday - Monday Night Football @ the Highlands Come watch the first week of Monday Night Football as the Highlands nightclub is converted into one of the coolest sports bar environments we've ever seen!! 3. I just got back in and TWO more people told me to buy it. The funny thing is the front door is so long you think you are opening the door to a Vette.
  4. So whats the biggest we got so far? No one over 6'1"? I dont believe it.
  5. So I'm renting this week this car. It's a car someone else (think it was nybeauty) did a thread about recently. Its strange cuz when I saw pics of this car I was blahhh boring. Well, as soon as it rolled up in the rentacar place I was --- WTF is that hot thing! It's the Dodge Magnum. But what's strange is that EVERYONE looks at you in this car. I have had no less than 2 people per day stopping me and asking me how I like it and that they want one too. Funny though, is that it is a bit hard to drive because it is extremely long, its longer than most station wagons, thats why the car is extremely roomy inside. Its a bit hard to steer and the power is okayyy on the stock version. But the interior styling is gorgeous (takes cues from the audi's interior) and the side and back of the car are A+. The front is a bit too Dodge-ey. But you luv having people turn heads, this car does it, even in a town in LA where that is USUALLy achieved by only $120K cars.
  6. M y yo will help you out. Things on ur list of items to do ... a) get a webhosting plan that is good for you do a basic html webpage design c) upload the sound files and ur done. Not a big task.
  7. If you got the mixes in mpeg, you can just do a simple download setup, presuming the file size is not too high under ur webhost's hosting plan.
  8. Has anyone "spoken" with Dee lately? She is the new way you book cars when you call up Dollar Rentacar. You call and the first thing you hear is "Hi. I'm Dee." You madly start pushing ZERO to shut her up and get a real person, but DEE doesnt go away. DEE - "What City would you like you rent in?" "Los Angeles" DEE -"Las Vegas, is that correct?" "No, you got the wrong friggen state." DEE -"My mistake, would you like to try again?" "No, and give me someone with a friggen pulse." DEE -"Great. I'll write that down." "Take whatever notes you want. Get me someone live." What other cos have people like Dee on their phone system that drives you crazy?
  9. Event = Impromptu depantsing of lalate Location = back of an nyc bar Date/Time = you name it when I'm in town What you must bring = scissors, garden sheers, or similar to rip my clothes off
  10. The artist formerly known as LALate
  11. I own a car. I'll take you out.
  12. I own a car. I'll take you out.
  13. Funny, I was thinking of "getting" some of that also. LOL
  14. google ... adult costumes ... and throw in words like lingerie or sexy ... sometimes the pics that come up give you some tips. A cool costume too is anything music related, and its not done that often.
  15. I'm so excited!!!!!!! This is perfect. Finaly, everything worked out as planned this year for Halloween for me!!! My costume is Italian. The venue is Italian. The staff is Italian. And the music is .... Oh heck!!! I HATE HALLOWEEN! Nothing ever works out right :( lol lol j/k
  16. Any store that has a large rental selection usually offers great accessories to buy and a staff with great ideas. I think anything from the 1800s and earlier is far game for originality. Two girls walked into this store and asked to be girls from the Reinassance .. I thought that was a cool idea ... and if you got the cleavage it can be friggen sexy as hell.
  17. Tenatively thinking of going as ... ... 1/2 naked Roman statute of Julius Caesar. (Bought some cool things at the costume store the other day. ... getting authenticity on the sandals is gonna be a b-tch )
  18. There are some that are beyond inappropriate. There is one club, rather not say the name, bigone, in Hollywood, where the dude actually has his name on the entrance to the mens' room in signs everywhere .... "welcome to the restroom, i'm ... your bathroom attendant extraordinare blah blah blah for tonight" and he's like directly traffic like an airtraffic controller on the tarmack at LAX with 3 thousand bottles of 1970s colonge on the counter and 20 million different types of breath mints from the far edges of the earth ... and he's hollaring and moving around and swinging his arms. You wanta say just stop and say " .... geez ... what other restrooms are you performing at this week. Im your biggest fan."
  19. Did you have the duty of taking him to the ER after eating the 2,000 lizards in the Fettucini sauce?
  20. Define "hotspots" in TJ ... <insert punchline here> lol
  21. happy bday girl. And, yep, I still owe you some bday-suit pics lol
