Afterhours is very unique, in some respects, complex scene, that is truly propelled by clubgoer loyalty. I can site examples of countless people I have met this fall alone that will tell you they will recognize at least 100-200 faces every week start at the same 4 am afterhours spot, move to the next 8 am spot, and be ready to continue at the 2 pm spot. If your business is targeted to any of those slots, you really need loyalty, because the same clique will be moving from spot 1 to spot 2 to spot 3 as a group most of the time.

Competition is good in any industry, especially nightlife. It creates niches, target scenes, and can lead to innovation.

Believe its called the Other Room, not Standing Room. For $35 approx you can get a great bottle of champagne to share. Neilson @ Market there are couple of great bars on OFW closer to Rose Rose cafe daytime Firehouse (good for happyhour) - Rose @ Main Chaya - Main near Rose The Other Room - Abbot near California new sushi spot on Abbot Hals - Abbot near Calif Brig - Abbot near Venice Main Street Scene Everyone knows this scene, no need to repeat. Pier Lobster - good for drinks Brass Cap - hot hot hot Ivy at the Shore - show up with ur six figure car Marrix - horrible food, but a fun place heading north Gladstones - name says it all Neptune's Nest - bring ur harley Brentwood Banderas - damn great food, cool crowd Qs - you know the scene Cabo - not as good as the sunset strip one, but still good im exhausted.
