It's funny, actually, I was on the inside of Conscience Point on the banquette against the wall facing the front when Lizzie struck that fateful night. The wall got pushed in, but only one person on the inside got hurt. That's because he was dancing on the banquette. All indoor injuries were to chicks in open toe shoes cutting their feet on all the broken glass.

Anyway, as I understand it, Hom is part of the Hampton Bays group of nightclubs. I don't want to come off as a snob, because I'm not. But any celebrity would rather get stabbed, shot or beaten to death rather than getting caught in a Hampton Bays nightclub. It's a no attitude area, and that includes the clubs. I think a number of top DJs like to spin there because people come to dance, not to pose. If you want an attitude-free night, this area is your destination. The crowd is what Manhattanites would term the "Bridge & Tunnel" crowd.

And Saleen, not that I really care if you knock the Hamptons because I do it as well, but I remember on at least one occasion your boy Tsettos was at CPI. Also, why would you think that Puffy selling his hamptons house is a BAD thing? Believe me, if you saw what I saw, things can only get better.

Thanx Mac ... you happen to know at what time clubs close there? ... :hat:

LoL Trance Dead?!?! .. I remember people in here saying that same STATEMENT 3 years ago, here, on CP. Its just hillarious, this TRANCE DEAD BS has been mentioned a trillion times before.. this is just another one. Im bored now so I might as well respond to this statement.

The best nights here in Miami, as seen has been from DJ's such as Tiesto and Paul van Dyk<< that allready proofs everyone commenting that trance is DEAD in Miami WRONG!. I see it the other way around, 2003 its been one of the greatest years for Trance ever since 1999, great productions are coming out, bunch of countless quality, lots lots of new talent, and, the most number of Trance DJ's on the TOP 10 on the so famous DJ MAgazine, where Tiesto got the #1 spot.

You seem to like Dave Seaman, please dont tell me he is HOUSE, I like Dave Seaman, and he plays some of the best Progressive Trance/uplifting sets.. you've got the Trance in Dave Seaman, soo hehehe Ironic there..

Another reason to show that trance is not dead.. Every Club in Miami has, lately, been bringing trance DJ's to some of their nights, Packing them all.. its slowling coming back up again, just like it was in 1999.. Im serious, instead of been dead, is reviving. He.

     :D

And by the way, I've heard Dave Seaman and he's aight. Not much too brag about cuz I've definitely heard better.

    Check out this site http://www2.dancetrippin.tv/dancetrippin.html

and you'll see its direct from IBIZA which we all know is THE party capital of the world...listen in...granted there's some crappy stuff on there, but there are some great sets as well.

    Your right ... I meant in Miami :( ... my bad :( :( :D

    Danny Tenaglia won’t hit Ibiza

    this summer

Danny Tenaglia has announced that he won't play in Ibiza this summer. Tenaglia, often called the mother of all DJs, won the Pacha Ibiza Award for "the DJ's DJ" last year and was also rewarded with "the set of the season". Although he was set to play again in Ibiza this year, Danny has made a concious decision to not travel to the island, but to stay in New York City with friends and family.

Danny was the exclusive resident DJ for Space in 1999 and 2000 but has yet played all four of Ibiza's biggest clubs as he also played at Pacha, Amnesia and Privilege last year, the last one being called the world's biggest club. Besides these gigs he's also done un-announced sets at DC-10, Bora Bora and Space. Danny will 'be himself' in NYC this year, and also wants other DJs to get the spotlight as there are so many good DJs around.

The main reason Danny has decided not to embark on a full summer of traveling is because his 6,500 square foot private loft in Long Island City is fully functional soon. Danny is calling it his 'Happy Space' and he's been working on it since he bought it two years ago. It's completely refurbished, and has the original sound system installed from Vinyl/Body & Soul. This space is for Danny to listen to his records, and will be used for gatherings for family and friends every now and then.

Danny will also get into the studio again soon to work on new music, which you will get to hear when he plays at Arc or at his gig at CPI in Hampton Bays/NY on Thursday July 3rd. Other gigs are soon to be confirmed. (02/06/03) "
