PS: Hasta el campeonato del mundo de clubes empieza a partir de Boquita.....

  2. Thank U for detailing your own experience........ but my questioning of sunglasses goes beyond the quality people on this board ....... goes to the masses of people that go to clubs......

If they are not fashion statements........ they were created to be fashion statements..... weren't they?? .......

The confort of using sunglasses in a club ........ when the pupils dilate for whatever reason:confused: ....... is making a public statement of one's mind state ...........

And probably there are exceptions ... medical conditions....... If you bring your ID w/U ...... couldn't they bring a medical excuse??? ........

Why tolerate such an expression?? .......

It is like .... have U seen those T's that read ....... Got Blow? ....... do they have anything to do with a particular kind of job??.......

Or those non-prescription contact lenses that....... how do I describe it.......... fake dilate your eye's pupils .......

Why do some people hide their eyes ....... others spend money to purposely dilate them??...........

Should clubs stop strobe lites?? ........ many epileptics will motion this ....... Wouldn't the banning of strobes serve to avoid the use of sunglasses????.......

Why do U see sunglasses at some clubs ....... and less at others??.... For example ..... I went with my mom and dad to a tango party ... and none were using sunglasses...... yet they drive pretty expensive wheels ....... and could afford those expensive sunglasses .....

so then.... I'm still debating ....... should we ban sunglasses ....... strobe lites ......... glow stix .......??

BTW ...... why are glow styx banned??????

  3. We have a nice treat this Thursday December 12th!!! ....... Fox Sports World (US) will broadcast the game live from Balaidos!!.....

Kick-off should be at 3 pm EST .......... and surely will throw sparks all over Glasgow and Vigo........

In the first leg, in Glasgow...... Glasgow Celtic won 1-0 .......... Celta have to keep Celtic scoreless ...... if they don't want to need at least three in order to qualify........

    Great UEFA Cup '02/'03 game.......

    I'm pretty excited already:eek:

    :hat:

  4. I was referring to the sunglasses that have dark lenses ........ like the ones U use at the beach ........ not the clear lens ones ..... but I know at some point they are all thrown together in the same bag ........

Why use the dark lens sunglasses inside a club (not the outside area of a club)??......... hiding the eyes 'cause they are f***ed up?? ... everyone has seen fucked up eyes ....... isn't it just telling everyone........ "I'm f***ed up?? .........

Doesn't this just give a terrible image at a club and to the club?? ....... specially for those patrons who are sober/alcoholized??

Wouldn't the club be condoning drug users...... if they are covering their eyes to hide their "state of mind"?? ........ what is the difference..... if any ........ with glow stix????? :blank:

Can someone give their impression on this???........ Should they ban sunglasses inside clubs??...... Should they be confiscated?? ..... or maybe have a section for sunglass check ..... like they do with coats during winter up north??..

    Thanx :hat:

  5. I have to apologize for this being in Spanish ....... could translate it ......... but don’t have enough time ........ it was written in AS of Madrid yesterday, prior to today’s game...

Enjoy ........ cause even though most of the things said we know ........ it’s always nice to see them recognizing ......... I mean at the other side of the Atlantic.......

BTW, Olimpia did all they could ....... there is probably $ 350 million difference between each ........ that makes it $175 million per goal......

Diario AS, Madrid December 02, 2002........... enjoy.......

    JUANMA TRUEBA

Y a gustar. Campeón del mundo. Sonaba bonito.

True...but alot of the tourist spend their whole WEEK at the beach...in their hotels and other parties...their are other parties happening at the same time as ultra...those that visit for WMC come for the parties...i dont even think many hit up ULTRA, b/c they miss out of alot of small industry parties

    2. PLEASE!!! i saw half naked chics at Bayfront running around...and of course the HUSTLER GIRLS!!!

    3. SEE POINT #1 - - also the sand, IMO, sucks...people drop their beers on the sand, the puke, the crush up the plastic cups...and if u are barefoot u step in all that shit...food mixes with the sand, the puke and the beer...people hide all that shit in the sand, then when u step in it...:vomit3:

    4. U said ULTRA would never leave Miami if they moved back to the beach....I dont see WMC going anywhere for a long time...:)

I'm having my second coffee.......... wuah (no sugar)

1> Someone walks out of the Albion........ from his small party .... remembers!!!...... oh, it's Saturday! ...... lets hit Ultra for a few hours ........ it's only (fill the space) blocks away! ....... DT is like getting ready to go to the beach ...... if you live in Kendall .....

2> I insist ...... the beach is the beach ......... I mean the sand not the city ........

3> Reef are great sandals ....... they also have flip flops ......

4> I said...... " WMC would never leave Miami if Ultra is held at our beach ...... I would sign that ......... "

Why do you think big DJs play at little clubs??..... It's the beach and the girls ......... now I don't want to go to specs on where the girls are..... Do U know???? ...... but please .... don't hate...:hat:

    2. Ultra is "linked" with big DJ Lineups....but make a rule this Ultra that all hot chics/girls/pigeons have to come in G-Strings...

    3. Bayfront is NOT like any other venue...u have a nice backdrop of city skyline (as small as it might be), the ocean and the cruise ships leaving for their voyages...i think its a good location

    4. Who said Ultra was leaving Miami?

    Good morning....... agggggggghhhhh (yawn).....

1> Choose the street to start...........choose a street to end...... world famous sand ........ weather ....... girls ....... music?......

2> Great idea.........but chicks don't come to downtown in G-strings........ unless it is after work ..... like 6 am..... to check out Bellini:eek:

As Mrmovement33 said...... (minus the chair :D )

"i remember those beautiful g-strings. and those 19 year old girls...bring this event back to the beach please. you just bring ur beach chair and your joint and smoke and chill. then all these young girls in bikinis come and give you a shoulder massage. this is great."

3> I respect your opinion......... but most tourists....... including our visitors during WMC ........... come down for the beach .... not DT ......

    4> Did I say that??.......

Last year we were this close ()......... f***ing Ocean Drive people

 ........ business is sooooo bad down there now ....... maybe we have a chance w/them this year ...........

Would this mean that for Markus Schulz to establish a vibe......he has to play at Opium, Nikkis, Space, Spin, Crobar and/or Level??

Tip: Start really supporting your local talent......... give them a hand .......... bet on them ............ What did they call it in science..... trial an error?? ..........

BTW....... congrats for supporting Jimmy and DHM....

Now I know everybody loves to hear progressive week after week after week. But maybe MAZE should try something like this. Something different musically. And not just on a small level. But a big timer that spins more of an original sound but still has a big name that will draw a crowd

    example:

    -Richie Hawtin

    -Derrick Carter

    -Carl Cox

    -Marco Carola

    -Green Velvet

    -Misstress Barbara

    -Adam Beyer

    -Mark Farina

I agree with you in the concept............ have heard live only a few of them.......... and am eager to listen to them in a real club......

There is more than proggy house out there......... and IMO Miami is ready for something other than prog or trance........ but it will take promoters to educate clubbers.........

It is as if you were taught math with a calculator......... can someone know more than just what they were taught with??? ........

    :hat:

  10. I have tried.......and tried ...... and tried to understand it ...... but..

What's up with sunglasses at clubs??????

IMO they should be banned just as glow stix!!!!!!...... unless I'm missing something.......

Is it to show purchasing power??? ......... 'cause most of the ones I see are the cheapo imitation........

OK after staying away from Space because of their obscene security people I decided to give it another try last Wednesday for Judge Jules.

First I must say that I am not the typical Guido looking to get in free, do more drugs than I can handle, and drink for free or not at all.

I am always well dressed, have a girl with me, and am polite (well usually polite) and believe it or not, I was totally sober.

The night started well when the doorman respected the password even a few minutes after midnight. It kept going well as Roland spun a nice opening set and they opened up the patio for DHM (who I was mostly there to see anyway)

Then I realized that I left my credit card in my car. To my surprise the doorman said no problem, just hurry up and he would take care of me! Wow! A polite nice doorman/security guy at Space, who would have guessed.

When I got back, I wanted to tip him to say thanks but didn’t have anything below a $20 so I went in and told my friends to wait a sec and got change.

When I got back to the door, there was a different guy there talking to another of the security guys. So I asked if the black guy who was working the door a second ago was around. (so I could tip him)

He immediately jumps all over my shit “CANT YOU SEE I AM HAVING A CONVERSATION HERE!!!” he screams at me while holding his arms out and trying to do some gorilla chest bumping crap. I was amazed. Here I am a customer trying to take care of the door guy, getting screamed at by some roided out two-bit security asshole. I can’t even remember the other things he just screamed at me.

Here I am, trying to give away my money, trying to have a good time with my friends, and getting screamed at and put down from the place where I am the patron!

I was too amazed to even be pissed at the time. About that time the other (very cool) guy came back and calmed the gorilla down for enough time for me to tip him, but then he just starts off on me again. I walked away in amazement.

If I am treated like this at my age (over 30) and well dressed. I can’t imagine how he treats the typical broke young kid who just wants to have some fun for his money and hear some decent music.

I have no idea how someone could hire someone who puts up such a negative image of his establishment.

How Luis can hire great people like Chris and Biz, and then let this crap go on is beyond my imagination.

BTW the cool guy was black, about 6’2” around 230lbs and pretty big. The asshole was huge and around 6’ 5” 260 ish with short dark brown hair in almost a flat top type of haircut.

I think DHM should bring their own staff ....... when they play Space....... just like Tenaglia does ......... ;)

no way dude, he is one of the best DJs out there.

His sound is Unique and he can't be pigeon holed into 1 genre.

In my opinion he should have gotten #1 DJ, but he isn't as popular as tiesto. But then again everyone has their own style.

Saw him at Crobar....... yeah that club that used to be good w/ music... and kicked some @$$.....

Saw him at Spin his first time........ was a fun nite........

Missed him the second time at Spin......... but heard what happened........

Still...... he brought a refreshed face to proggy house ....... is one of the ones who sealed breaks into proggy......

I respect him....... but .......... like Tyrant even more!!!!....... when is someone going to bring Tyrant home?????

Anyone from MAZE to answer?? ......... it would be a-MAZE-ing...
