I get in ....... and am soooooooo impressed ........ everything I needed to see was there ......... except a crowd ....... as if I needed to evaluate the club ....... Saleen did the job for us last week ...... word by word ..... exact .....

saw all the faces that count when there is something as serious as this club ..... won't name them ....because all of them agreed in the same points ...... the only but .....lack of promotion ........
Carla comes back to see if everything is OK ....... introduces me to the owner ........ guess what ..... the same person who comped me at the door ....... this is class ...... I have never seen. exact .....

I have few words to say..... but after missing the opening of MAZE last weekend ..... I'm @$$-tonished ...... s-PITCH-less ........ simply f***ing a-MAZE-eeeeeeeen club........
It made Level become hip-hop mecca ........ It made Crobar take the commercial route........It made Spin try to make us believe trance is the way ....... It made Space try and try and try with their Fridays.........

At 2 am they packed ...... and decided Miami is not worth listening to such good quality music......
Some people might think next time I'll check it ...... sometimes there might not be a next time .........

You are right ...... but Spin was a wannabe back then ...... and Crobar was serious with its musical choice .........
I can't make a business decision today ...... putting myself in the context of yesterday ........ if conditions are equal U can do that.... if conditions change U need to reevaluate ...... and consider the new context ....
Like the decline in trance following altogether .... like the fact that Space has tried with quality to keep trance alive on Fridays ..... and hasn't worked ..... like the fact that techno is almost a legend as the Rolling Stones are ... even though we have in town one of the best DJs I have heard spinning techno almost unemployed in this town......
I also remember the mighty patio @ Space having latin music .... based on that I wouldn't say a latin night at Spin wouldn't work .....
BTW ..... I'm trying to bring constructive criticism ....... and by my experience ...... it's from where the best ideas come .....
