i would like to get my hands on that set since i will probably go to maze, tons of chicks always at maze. i heard nerve last friday was like 80% guys, wasn't that what i saw posted? besides, nerve is a little too small i think. whenever OG and/or Roly played at spin there was always a nice vibe

cheekitika, i remember the blue room...the best party ever in miami with edgar there on fridays... complete chaos and craziness unrivaled anywhere, the best time.. i miss it, too bad it's all gone now

be sure to make it by for the PVD pre-party at maze, 4 hour open bar til 2am, $2 u call it drinks til midnight ...share the wealth...

how sad, space can barely fill their big warehouse on a saturday (let's not even mention their stellar fridays every week that have not existed for years), so you know LP will be hating on everyone who might stepping up in the world. no special evets=no friday party...causing tears? i will be by to catch this last time PVD plays at space, see you cp'ers there friday after the maze open bar pre-party

for sunday got to check out nikki's- there is really nothing else like it. the sunday nerve party had less than 50 in attendance last sunday, so you probably don't want to go there. maze has a killer sunday afternoon party that has been good since it started a few months ago. also check out maze on friday, not to be missed.

make sure you are careful if you go to space- it is in a really bad area- so make sure you know directions real well, cause you don't want to get lost near there in downtown miami. your best bet is to go somewhere actually on south beach or make sure you take a cab right to their front door

the girls all seem to love crobar, space, maze (for clubs), and of course rumi and mynt (for lounges) and don't miss niki beach on sunday if you are still looking for something to do and have the energy

i will be there for PVD after checking maze out til like 2am, got a b-day party i have to show up for. he is one of the true masters to survive the hype- he still is on top and can smoke most everyone. if you really like pvd- check out his live set from Mayday 2003 and from the rosemontag can't wait to hear him somewhere new in miami though... hopefully on the beach!!!

ignorance abounds all over. some of you people need to do your homework instead of talking all the time. blah blah blah.. when was the last time you were in crobar on a saturday? that place is fucking stuffed with the best looking girls in miami and cedric throws it hard and is on perfect point with the crowd, besides he drops crazy shit from robbie rivera, murk, etc. alot beside producing his own tracks too- what more do you want? he plays great sets, more impressive than i thought he would be these days- and the only reason i was thinking that way is because i had not been in there on a saturday night in a long, long time. the only shit that someone could talk about crobar is that it is a bit commercial due to having clubs in NY & Chicago, and has now become sort of a brand. commercial it may be- but cedric gervais is the exception. i have been really impressed the last times i have gone in the past few months. that main floor grooves and gets down 110% and it is packed til close- rare in miami anywhere these days. they have to kick everyone out at 5am! now, a year ago, crobar did not have that vibe that it has picked up of recent. it's worth checking out if you have not been lately. oh and if you don't look good or aren't dressed well- they may leave you standing on the sidewalk for a while- hence the good crowd inside... so i know why some people may not like it. and oh my god!!! - you might have to pay to get in !!! i agree more guest dj's would be great. and matas- have to agree with your point about re-entry- we all need to be able to sneak out and have a smoke break to fire the night up a little

thanks for the info pulse, i had not heard about the higher kHz cd's. i have to agree with you to sgt. fury...

marco v is a bad ass, but picotto smokes him. marco v is excellent, but so many of his tracks sound unbearably similar. picotto has more energy, a more intense tempo mixed with walloping lows. marco v still gets mad props- but don't go trying mauro- he is to the electronic music world- a superstar. just check around the globe where he plays, he is the shiznit!

you people don't seem to remember that space used to be hiphop on fridays for a while, and one of the dj's from Power 96 was the dj. it didn't work out, didn't make any money after the first month or so. the hip hop crowd is not strong for afterhours, so again, why go to crack town when you can go to opium, level, etc. for hip hop. that is if u actually want to hear it... space 34 has nothing special to offer for hip hoppers. i would rather keep them out of that building all together, cause they will overflow into saturdays as well and bring the quality of the whoel crowd down. vote no to hip hop at space!

to be honest, i do feel a little cheated when i 'catch' a dj that i thought was really good- spinning ONLY cd's. there is a warmth that comes into the sound off of vinyl. cd's are great for effects and loops. but at least mix it up...

space already tried hip hop on fridays and it didnt last long, i don't think the new space would be any different in the view of the hip-hop crowd. why go downtown and deal with all the bumbs and beggarswhen you can be on the beach? space 34 is special events and afterhours for me- that's it. so we'll see i guess. the only place i saw fights at space in was ALWAYS the hip hop room on the rare occasision i would venture into there let's face it, the hip hop crowd sucks overall. electronic music lovers are there to celebrate and chill, not cause problems
