tranz, we have more in common than i thought... i was at space dancing my ass off every friday until edgar left, i made the original blue room vip my home. it was a vip that actually was fun and crazy. i miss those nights in that dark ass room !!! i am in better health and sleep alot more now that it is gone though...lol by far the best times i have had anywhere in miami- the REAL & ORIGINAL SPACE ( i'm not into sequels). edgar was amazing every friday and had a line around the block for a long time. new years eve for year one at space was probably the best party to date in my opinion, don't know if you were there... tracks like 'witches' and that taucher track 'weird science', all off the chain, i can still hear it......everybody going crazy, nitrous pumping, horn blowing, white strobes flashing... sorry, i got carried away! it is a shame that clubs won't take the promotional initiative to get people like scott project, gielen, cosmic gate, etc. and just for the record- scott bond has got to be one of the best there is and he get NO name recognition here at all. at least thousands support him at gatecrasher every time he spins...

oh, for noel sanger no one was there. that was before the new team of promoters went to work. didnt see you there for the bliss party or the friday after that. are sneaking in the back door in disguise ?? come on dade, you don't remember me??? i even came to opium/prive with Ponchi, one of the pacha owners, for the pacha party. that party was awesome by the way! PS- even the doorman that works the door at maze says he has never seen you at maze. and he used to work for you at shadow lounge- why the BS ?

i hear you, i just get a little annoyed by some of the trance bashers out there. they have been my favorite trance dj's for a long time- and the best was that you could see them every weekend, but unfortunately not anymore...

well- i beg to differ. edgar uses george's music. guess who's track is featured on edgar v's trancemissions cd ? ahhh, george acosta. yeah, go back and take a look. i am not asking if this board has a 'warm and fuzzy feeling' about the dj, i am talking about the MUSIC ! i have mad love & support for edgar as he is a friend of mine, as well as george. edgar is the shiznit too, but you can't compare apples and oranges. they play different styles, before and now. just look at the circles they run in: acosta- talla, cosmic gate, du monde edgar- pvd to discredit george is just ignorance...continue on though...

i hope the turn out is good, regardless of what shit people like to talk, george is defeintely the pioneer of trance in miami. i spent many, many satruday nights partying there, hence i dedicated my CP name to the memory of shadow lounge. always will be missed. the best would be edgar twice a month, george twice a month !!! good luck to both of them there...

he is smoking A LARGE AMOUNT OF CRACK to come to that decision... regardless of the crowd or the dj, the funktion one at maze smacks up nerve's system as well as most everyone else. only club owner propaganda can distort the reality of quality sound...

maze is 21+ along with everything else on miami beach as far as i know we just had my little brother's 24th birthday party there a couple weeks ago, and it was awesome with ralph falcon on the tables all i know is that the nerve system crackled in my ears too many times for me, so we all left and went to maze, and robbie rivera was kicking it hard and for real...i won't miss him next time he plays there the funktion one system at maze is the best in miami if you ask me... george acosta is going to be at maze i thought. what is the word about him going to be at nerve??

SoBe should head back to clubbing 101 at miami dade. a few things to remember- reality check: "Space is so great" that it has been reduced to a ONE NIGHT PER WEEK CLUB. what went wrong?? what happened to fridays? Let's see, Crobar without a doubt has the best looking crowd, vip or main floor. They have a busy thursday (cedric in the vip), they have a busy friday (edgar v, dave ralph, etc.), they have a busy saturday (cedric, otehrs) and they are busy on sundays and monday they have a successful party also. hmmmm, space is so great, huh? and also remember, neither crobar or maze want to be like space. the whole concept is to offer something different. maze has been looking very very good. and yeah, it is not supposed to be loud in the vip so you can actually TALK there, hence the couches...not a dance floor, duh! and if you are so in tune with $$$ and have so much of it- and you know so much- just open your own. i am sure you can show louis puig and the other owners how things are done. trust me- you are not the only one on this board that (might) have some $$$ or degrees. there are plenty of us who have both wake up SoBe and take your head out of the space asshole, or you may just get sucked in further and ROLAND- he is off the chain! no question, top notch dj. lots a luv

level is an attraction now that george acosta is not there, not a locals club- but that is obvious. but they make money, that's what this BUSINESS is really about level had a good music conference lineup- judge jules 4 hour set was awesome, and if you like lasers, level is the best- definitely the best mutliple laser show, that huge room is bad ass with acosta there, and i know colby, he did promotions promotions for level while george acosta was the resident one thing for sure, crobar+opium+level = making money for several years, hip hop, house, whatever it may be

last friday was really good, i will be coming by to check it out again ralph falcon from MURK- coming next week to Maze- won't miss that either...that will be a great place for him to spin on a regular basis maze has palced itself on the map in a short period of time, the fridays there have a good looking crowd and has been busy the last couple times i went- and the nitrous and sound system are the best i have seen and heard in miami

let's clarify a few things for this board- 1. Spacecadet- I want to thank you for agreeing with me that it will not be open for WMC. Also, i am curious why you call me a moron when you agree with me? (aka that it will not open for wmc) 2. louis puig is not a general contractor 3. owners love to cut corners to save money very often 4. louis loves to save money 5. louis loves to make money 6. the offical opening date for space 34 WAS Feb. 14, 2003. i know louis and i have seen the flyers that were not distributed. 6. i have been in the building many times and i doubt that louis would intentionally have such violations, but he did not create them, and he just had this news broken to him late last week. 7. anyone else wants to play with this moron? i will have my boxing gloves with me at space for picotto and pvd, so just look for me...hugs and kisses i want to thank the rest of the board (minus Pod) for being intelligent and open minded people...see you at space
