  5. IF MADE IS IN at spirit then i guess i will be goin back to spirit again after tomorrow of course.
  6. danihawk comparing this party to ikon is very ahrd to do. This party will be more like cielos party in oct and also like being back at 6 hubert street and much better than any roxy party. Think about it. And for someone who said that its to cold, how crazy are you, wear a coat and sweater and take it off inside like everyone else will do. DAIILESTMATTYG GONNA be sweating it up right, majinbu and brandon gonna be dancing al night as well good shit. Yo afa you know how its gonna go down just like old times or like 718 sessions hehe. DEEPERNDEEPER have a good night maybe we'll cross paths. And i havent heard anything but most likelt dt wil be on stage. ovrdose work that shit kid and exit24e might catch you this time.
  7. Also cant forget LOUIE VEGA at cielo tonite and PAL JOEY at 60 thompson st. And 2 days ago at cielo FRANCIOS K, every night geat parties in NYC. Yo dude im thinkin bout heading out tonite, lemme know if interested. le souk, 60 thompson and karma are on my radar tonite.
  8. and what would be your reason for missing this one huh.
  9. why do you need TABLES? DANNY all night long= dancing all night long. ARIEL will be working the lgihts as well so its gonna be a great reunion. Havent heard danny play from opening till closing since oct at cielo now that was a great party. And the party will go on till 10am which sucks for me cause i have to leave at 830am since i work at 9 930am. And usually the last 2 hrs are even more amazing, and you hear REAL DANCE CLASSICS.
  10. Read above: APT 419 WEST 13TH STREET, between washington st and 9th ave. See you there.
  11. "GOTTA HAVE HOUSE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG, WITH THAT HOUSE MUSIC, YOU CANT GO WRONG, MOVE YOUR BODY" tomorrow night its on. APT 419 west 13th street.
  12. damn it that weekend is gonna kill me. on the 1st from 6pm till12am 718 SESSIONS at DEEP then bouncing over to SPIRIT for CALDERONE and VIBE. And cant forget NEW YRS EVE like 4 loft parties suly room and babylons kiss after rhs party. Sheesh. Have fun everyboy andbe safe. I most likely will skip out on sander this time.
  13. strip clubs are for people who cant get laid. How hard is it really in this day an age, just dance and let them come to you, viola. SIMPLE.
  14. did he really? Or are you just showing the maturity of his crowd.
  15. No doubt MIKE, but like you said "SOME".
  16. mask is my boy but this is funny.
  17. I'll agree to youon that one indeed drugs have been on the scene since its creation no doubt. But b4 the drugs were different and used more to continue partying for at least 24 hrs or more. But i ould be wrong aswell since im not literally from that era, but from people i do know and from what i read and hear it seems that way. I love how people in thier 40s and 50s who still dance harded than i do tell me about their experiences at these places crobar and spirit and laugh at what they see and then feel sorry as well. Now from WHAT I SEE with my own eyes is people doin drugs cause they think its cool or think they need to fit it or that its likes getting water at the bar, its just natural. And thats far from the truth so in essence you have people goin to clubs/parties to ONLY do their drugs. And also a very very big reason why i think the scene is hurtingnow and i dont think its has been discussed on this board b4 is that all those DEVOTED, PASSIONATE FANS from like the mid 90s are NOW trying o make something happen for themselves and their careers in the INDUSTRY. So lets say as an example when 200 hardcore fans were out to hear a dj in 2001 now theres like 75 to 100 only out this yr to hear them cause the other 100 have parties of thier own that same night and the crowds are divided. I hope i explained that correctly.
  18. It was fun from 9pm till about 11 or so but i left to cielo to dance i hate being in a room with about maybe 75 people or so and being the only one getting down. And i like mostly everyone who was there and kno them from ther boards and parties. It was mostly a bday celebration for someone more than a steve porter set. Steve is good liked him at crobar liked him at cielo liked him at NA. And ive said it b4 i use to like trance as well from about 1996 till 1999/2000ish then i realized it all sounds the same and went back to my roots.
  19. problem is people who think the scene is run and fueled on drugs only.
  20. So i was at NA last night for steve porter and three and then bounced over to cielo for francios k's party. Anyhow at cielo i met a few peeps who are throwng a TRANCE PARTY tomorrow night wed at KARMA i think they said the basement.I had the flyer with the information but i lost it at the after party. So i just figured i would say something to this board.
  21. Well theres a difference in people who go to parties. To some its a social thing then theres the casual fan then theirs the people who like it alot. And then theres the ones who are passionate about the scene whos lifestyle revolves around the house scene. And sadly the lack of the last one is where the problem lays in.
  22. so i passed over in the info that AZTEC provided to curtis and i got an email this morning saying that the info was very valueable. And that hes been reached with a whole bunch of crap and in fact was using a differnt name for the song. So now lets just se what happens.
  23. hey wilcal morillo has been respected very much in NYC since the early 90s. Its only now that the HARD HOUSE/PROGRESSIVE fans are catching on since that is what hes playing more oftern since jp and factory first closed. And in europe they are cheering that sound that you called funky old school deephouse that you needed to rest to. And comparing morillo OLD to NEW are 2 different stories although since he is mixing his old style in at times it pleases both fans. Although his newer style is and has alienated his older fans. While his newer fans sit down for the older styles,SIGH. But like i said i will wait till hes at 46th street to hear him again.
