Um fellows jsut so ya know theres a crap load of UNDERGROUND parites with music from now and yesteryear thrown by the people at that party. But its at the MONTHLY 718 that everyone reunites under a dj that was THERE. And believe me guys theres a whole world of parties goin on under your noses this is just the most named one along with SHELTER sat nights. So that comment about oldtimes needing to move on why should they thier out just as much as i am and much less than all of ya at other parties with newer music. Why not give them a night where it takes them back in time.

Anyhow point is my musical styles VARY which is why i dont get that comment about "SLEEPY" house music, most djs on my list have been around since the 70s and are still around, iw ould love to see some of these"NEWER" djs stick around for that long. And to make the RECORD stragiht for the last time, i like my BPM rangin from 120 - 128, even 130, 132 MAX. My faves though range fro126 to 128. So while i may like MY music and THINK other music sucks, that doesnt make me right, just like ya saying mymusc sucks and yours is the best. This world is made up of many sides of music for many people, so enjoy. And smgarret and ovrdose ive always wanted to meet ya and invite ya to certain parties to see certain things. I was merly saying that events like those are for certain people who like them, personally i dont. And i dont know what parties you been to here that makes you say you need drugs to party to it. So i cant defend or agree. But there are alot of musci out there that I FEEL only people who are fucked up can listen to those hard and fast beats. But thats not my style at all.

nah im not into being a DJ at all i just LOVE my music along with like 2000 cds and a shitload of mixtapes from the 80's and 90's who needs radio. I havent really listen to radio but once everynight if im home from 6pm till7pm and then if im home on sat nights from 12am till 5am and both station are 98.7. Spinnin aint my thing but i do play all the music i have from beginning till end like DAVID MANCUSO has been doin since 1968 and stil does but unlike mancuso i dont tell a story with my music i just wanna hear the sounds and feel the love of the track.If ya mix or make cds would be curious as to what your "STYLE" would be.

exactly! im a househead just like most people on this board are into stuff that was on that video aint no biggie. Theres no shortage of people or parties in nyc that caters to everyones taste in music and crowd.And yes i was a raver from 16yrs old till 18 no longer my thing.

was at this party last yr and it was great, even jazzy jeff step up and played for a few. Crowd wise was a whos who of house music community.

As for friday tedd patterson is at SULLIVAN ROOM which is right next door and downstairs from the lions den lol. Why not go there instead avoid the massive clubs for a weekend guys.
