  2. looks like theirs a bit of everything for everyone this weekend. Have fun everybody at your respected parties.
  3. MORALES is an amazing DJ but his set at spirit were dissapointing and he didnt play what he nomally plays, geez i wonder why, NYC now has a rep about playing HARDER AN HARDER AND FASTER and its disgusting for my taste. Especially when djs that you grew up lsitenign to for 10 , 12 yrs chancing their style to play what they think that cr5owd will like as appose to wht they always play all over the world. Yo digital morales show on fri nights he plays how i wish he would play in the big rooms here now. And people think his set at crobar for the grammy party was his normal style, man he dont know anything.
  4. Its kennys bday and hes doin a performance as well. Its been a very long time since i been to this party and i know some of ya have wanted to go and pm about goin. Well lets make it happen. See you peoples there.
  5. Im goin to SULLIVAN ROOM on fri to see HECTOR ROMERO and on sat goin to CIELO for TEDD PATTERSON. What do you have planned, if curious about trying some other djs that i actually think will please most of ya, come check them out.
  6. When youve been dancing to a song for a while but dont know anything about it. Yet you feel so closely related to that song when its played. And then finally you get the name of it and or it finally comes out and you have to get it. Well this one is mines recently, been hearing it for a few months now. From hearing this at SHELTER to CIELO, TO DEEP to SULLIVAN ROOM, to DISCOTHEQUE. Ive finally found the name of this song that makes me feel good and dance like a madman. And while i may get hateres on me like always for my posts, i just simply wanted to spread the love i have for my music thats all. QUENTIN HARRIS-TRAVELING
  7. I do it all the time, dont do drugs and dont drink at all. And i have the best times each night im out. Music is the drug people dancing is the high. Why do you need anything else.
  8. The actual title is TEN CITY- THATS THE WAY LOVE IS
  9. you must be very proud of yourself.
  10. BEHROUZ, SAY NO MORE, IM THERE. Oh wait thats the same ngiht as DT, i guess i will not be there. I dont miss a party where danny tenaglia or hector romero play.
  11. HMMM so i didnt miss much then. HOUSEY MORILLO was my hero since 1992 dont know who this guy is for the last yr. Which is why ive been hesitant to hear him again, been very dissapointing to me lately FOR MY TASTE.And if you think the erick youve been hearing for the past yr is the erick thats been around since the early 90s then you are wrong. I hate hearing how all these djs play more housey over seas WHERE ITS APPRECIATED MORE, than when they play hear in the sates.
  12. hey tayama one night we will be on the samefloor. Hope you had fun at roger s.
  13. why would anone want to text anybody. Idont do it i dance the whole night. My friends KNOW how to find me.
  14. depedning on which night and which party is goin on. Differnt nights during the week local talent spins. On the nights ive gone its been house kinda small but good when the night is perfect.
  15. this board makes it sound like a great party. While other peeps i have heard fomr said it was typical BIG ROOM sound. I hate conflicting reports.
  16. as usual the sman opens and closes his sets.Have fun.
  17. i cant tell ya about the original GALLERY from the 1970s with DJ NICKY SIANO. Dont know anything bout this cheap imitation thats out now.
  18. maybe since DT was in the house he was trying to imitate him. And with morilo being at roxy on weds im sure erick learned a few things. Good to hear kim that you had fun. But becareful to much dancing will cause so much pain to your body. Look at me.
  19. This is all i could find on it. THE SAINT Even though I was (and still am) a Trocadero Transfer die-hard, it's hard to dismiss how great The Saint was. It's size, design and New York style qualify it as the ultimate Gay disco of the early 80's underground disco era. Robbie Leslie was my favorite Saint DJ, and he had a special flair for long, impressive underlay mixes and a flowing style that was elegant and extremely professional. He played a "pretty" sound that could be perfectly matched with the multi-color light show of The Saint, and once he got past playing the hits at around 4 a.m., his music was inspiring and uplifting. While I remain a hard core Bobby Viteritti morning music fan (for his slow, tweaked morning sound), Robbie (who was Bobby's light man at the Poop Deck in Florida during the mid-70's and cites Bobby as his greatest DJ influence) played with a smooth, predictable style that brought an almost formal magic to the final hours of a long Saturday night on the Saint dance floor. I once heard Robbie do a flawless 5 a.m. long mix into the original version of Diana Ross' "Aint No Mountain," which was not only cool, but hard as hell, and I literally got lost on the dance floor once while he played an extremely stylish set of pretty 132 bpm Italian import instrumental tracks that I'd never heard. The Saint was a great place to get lost in and lose your friends for a few hours, which I always liked because if you did The Saint properly, you were pretty high and didn't have much to say to anyone. It's mazelike dimensions were intriguing and architecturally stunning, and its theatrical qualities gave the huge space a sense of grand style that was unmatched by any other club. Dancing at the Saint was an unbelievable experience. The dance floor was covered by a 40 foot-high translucent dome that was lit from both directions. A lighting tower with 1,500 fixtures was located in the center of the dance floor and topped by a planetarium-style star projector. At the top of the dome was a hidden door that would open to reveal a huge mirror ball at various points throughout the night. And the energy on that dance floor! It wasn't unusual for a few thousand people to be on it at the same time, with the overhead dome serving as a brilliant canvas for thousands of colors and shapes that would take you on a great trip and prevent you from ever forgetting the club. I'll never forget my first night there, when the room was blacked out and the solar system slowly faded onto the dome, then began to slowly spin--I'd never seen anything like it and still haven't. Everytime i walk by the building of its location i stand and look around and wish i could experiecne that party for one night. Same thing with 84 king street, 647 broadway, 99 prince street and of course the original soundfactory on 27th street.
  20. well ive had sex with a woman who was 47 when i was 19. And the youngest ive slept with was 17 when i was 17. Most of the woman ive slept with have been older than im manily being since im 24. Seems like older woman are stiraght forward whenit comes to SEX, whiel youngins like to play games and waste time. Right now my g/f is 5'9 and is 28 yrs old. My ex will be 30 in june and the tallest girl i ever dated was 6'1. Remember dont judge anyone on anything when it comes to dating. If you like to fuck a certian type then by all means. But if you truly wanna be happy then look beyond the physical.
  21. good luck wiht the party jk and hopefully i should be checking it out soon.
