  1. Its to short for me to really hear what it was, it could be anything, sorry.
  2. cant also forget all the hrs he spends listening to music at record stores and goign thru stuff that is sent ot him daily. Ive bumped into him so many times at record stores looking searching for what moves him. And also cant forget all the other things besides music that he does on his own time. Im not making an excuse for him taking 4 yrs to release it but its not like he hasnt been doin anyting, and thats what i want to make clear. In those 4 yrs he has also relesed 3 complilations as well. Personally the song couldve been released with the version i heard in 2004, that to me was the best one.
  3. So how many remixes have you been asked to do and how many parties did you have aas a residency for 5 yrs and where all over the world have you been ask to play.
  4. i aint satying for l,ong though, just have to do a few things. Also might be abit tired since i was out last night and will be out tonite and have to work tomorrow morning. Erick isnt my style anymore until super later but by then i willbe at work.
  5. I guess your forget about all the remixes he has worked on during that time.
  6. believ eit or not i will be there early on.
  7. why would you wanna go there inthe first place? If its not like house music related i perosnally cant answer your question. Maybe someone else can.
  8. Im not talking about "evolving" thats a whole other story, i think every dj should evolve, but not do away with "thier" sound. Im gonna name a few djs who have evolved but still have thier sound: roger sanchez, danny tenaglia, louie vega, danny krivit, francois k, derrick carter, etc. Anyway with taht said, i'll see you guys cause im going now.
  9. Song was released in june 2005 and its one of those boring songs that sounds the same. Nothing really special about it. Much better tribal songs out there, imo.
  10. which temple, manhatthan or brooklyn?
  11. Def DANNY KRIVIT on feb 17th@SOL. As for weekday well you have DEEPSPACE with FRANCOIS K on mons at CIELO, and tues DEEPSEE at sapphire lounge, with eman n lola, the crowd is filled with some of the best dancers in nyc. Also wanted to mention that on sat night SHELTER starts at11pm and ends on sunday afternoon like 12 sometimes 2pm.
  12. Depending on what your style of music venue size and crowd wise, theres a variety of things to choose from. Ideally i wouldnt listen to any promoters who promote only thier parties, while some might be good i think its unjust. Anyhow with that said, i can reccomend CIELO on the 11th for TEDD PATTERSON monthly party. His styleof music has attracted so many new fans each month from this board. He plays a style that starts off deep, gets techy and dark with some tribal and ends the nights with classic dance music. That party is from 11pm till 430am. The following night also at cielo is called FRESH FRUIT with djs quentin harris and steve travolta, from 9pm till 3am, mUusic is a deephouse, soulful beats with some tech house. Also that night is ASSETERIA at SHOW with hard beats hard tribal dark shit with a mix bag of peopel in teh crowd. Right now i cant think of anything else but till keep you informed.
  13. it has changed so many times during that 4 yr period so no it is not exactly the same song.
  14. Actually its the other way around, morillo has been a fixture in the hosue scene since the late 80s. Only within the past few yrs did his popularity get higher amongst a certain crowd.
  15. My personal fave version of the track was the one i heard in march 2004. Hes been working on this track since 2001 to be exact and there have been so many different verions, and he could never complete it cause for a time in 2001 he had to work on remixes of a few other tracks. The one played now is still a great track and its unfortunate what happened with the leaking. I look forward to buying the vinyl whenit is released and cd and buying it on mp3 when its available as well. Best part of the song for me is when the girls voice is goin back and forth. How passionate can you be about this culture if your happy that this happen to a well respected artist and dont care and talk shit and cant wait to get it for free off a file sharing thingy. The worse part has always been djs who have been putting this song on their charts and its been the wrong one all these months.
  16. I'll be at CIELO that night for MARK FARINA, sorry hope your party still goes good.
  17. well see you guys at cielo in afew weeks when roger plays there.
  18. I guess its gonna be fun divirginizing some ladies, oh wait, their young lol.
  19. i also cant stand the electro stuff much myself. JAMES HOLDEN is still 1for1 in my books, i will go hear him again. Well hoow bout this, YOU MUST COME TO LOVE TONITE FOR JOE CLAUSELL its from 6pm till like1or 2am, YOU HAVE MY GURANTEE for a good time, except i wont be dancing, im tired and hurt and leaving work now.
  20. maybe hes into the bottles n models scene where no one really cares about anything other then being in "THE HOT" spot and trying to look a certain way so they can continue being let in and have a reason to live.
  21. I dont like crobar the club itself, but thier bookings are amazing. And ROGER SANCHEZ has been a fixture in the house scene for a very long time now and is well respected by the industry, but maybe he doesnt play the style of music you like, and being that you work for pacha well that explains the ignorant comment.
