Treasures? Is this a new place? What's it like?

Olympic Gardens and Sapphires share the same owner. Olympic Gardens is no where as nice as Sapphires. Much smaller and a tad skeevy.

Just got in from the gym. Did a great set of squats. While I was there I saw these two guys working legs on the machines. I could have used them as swords in a fight they were so skinny. I proved my point.

I think you guys are missing my point. What I'm trying to tell you is that I've never been to a lounge on a Sat. night that started out with that type of music and went into progressive house like Taste did. It did not blend well. And to Jerry, yes, I've been to lounges that play a mix of 80's, hip hop and dance. BUT, they play that all night. Do you see my point? I would try a nice ambient mix while dinner is still being served. I had the Safety Dance in my head all the next day.

I'm sure once your that size your gains come easier. My point is your not going to get any size and strenght working primarily with machines. You have to use the "big" exercises to make the big gains. I use machines primarily to cut up. I use the free weights to gain mass. Take a look at the bigger guys at your gym. You'll notice they squat, bench press and dead lift.

Can you really tell Mr. John Edwards? If you could, you would not have started the night out with that gay music. I've been to most of the NYC lounges. The lounges that I've heard that type of music, stuck with it all night. I've never been to lounge that started out with the village people and michael jackson and then would jump into trance. And again, that was my opinion, if you can't take my opinion, get out of the business!

I switched my workout from high reps to lower reps and heavier weights. 5x5 sets Made incredible gains as far as size and strengh. I make sure form is number one and then come the weights. Stay away from the machines and try to use more free weights. Leave the machines for the girls.

We got there pretty early. Must have been 7:30. There were only a handful of people there. The waiter we had was pretty good. He also comped the pasta. The problem is it left a bad impression with everyone in my party for the night. I was so hungry after dinner, I had to order dessert. Maybe I'm just too big of a dessert eater, but the piece of cake was the size 3 quarters! I ate it with two forkfuls. "The donger need food!"

Wasn't very impressed with Taste this Sat. We showed up early and had dinner. The menu didn't have a lot of entrees to pick from to start with. To make matters worse, everytime someone in our party tried to order, we were told they are not making that today or it's been changed to something else. I ordered the risotto (finally found something the cook could make). If the portion was any smaller, I would think I ordered from the childrens menu. My friend ordered the pasta and it came out half cooked and hard. Is pasta really that hard to make? I have to say, our server was very good. He worked with what he could. He comped our desserts because he felt bad. Now with the music early on. If I didn't know any better, I thought the village people were throwing a bash in there before 10:30. Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Jackson5? For a trendy lounge, that was some gay music early on. Try some ambient next time. Not bashing the place or being a hater, just posting my opinion.

Just booked a stay for New Years at MGM. Now I need to start saving my pennies for liquor, gambling and the lovely ladies of Sapphires!

You boys better bring your umbrella. It could get ugly out in the stadium today. I'm bringing a spare set of underwear to change into while I ring out my wet ones. Mom said to wear clean underwear!

I would highly recommend the Venetian. Excellent rooms and nice restaurants. It's also centrally located. The Aladdin was horrible. I stayed there once and will never go back. That hotel had as much excitement in it as a gangbang at a retirement home. Totally skip the Mirage and Treasure Island. Treasure Island caters to trash and the Mirage was too ghetto for me. I could have been there on off times, but this is mho. Good luck.

Reddog...you must have been to the Rio clubs on a good night. I went to Bikinis and Voodoo Lounge and it was disgusting. It looked like they were having a free buffet at a weight watchers convention. I never saw so much bison in one place in my life....and to make matters worse, all they played was hip hop. If i didn't know any better, I though this was Gods way of punishing me.

If you haven't been there yet...make it a mandatory stop. It's the mother of all gentlemens clubs. I was in a daze when I first walked into this place. It's like walking into a stripper warehouse. 300 of Americas finest dancers...complete with sky boxes. Just bring a ton of cash. You can easily go through 300 dollars in an hour!

Anyone been to Vegas for New Years? I heard they close down the strip. Just wondering what to expect.

Vegas is the place to be for New Years. I'll be there for the week. It's almost like Mardi Gras in the dessert. Palms is def. the spot. I've never seen so much hot looking ass in one spot in my life. It's like being a fat person let loose in a Haagen Daaz store!

What's a good restaurant to eat at in the Borgata? Cuisine doesn't make a difference as long as the food is good as well as the atmosphere.

Chart House is the way to go for a nice dinner. Excellent food. You have few cruise ships right next door. Good luck.

I'm not surprised about these new gay shows. I use to be a television producer. A majority of men that work in tv are gay. That is the main reason I left. It's a little uncomfortable being 1 of only 2 straight guys in an entire office. The office conversations these guys had were absofuginglutely disgusting.

Has anyone been to Vegas for New Years? I'll be heading out there this year and was wondering what to expect. I do know I won't be visiting Rain. If the long line is not enough to keep you from going in, the hip hop will. I think I'll stick with Sapphire. The entertainment is top notch.
