Me neither, I don't think I could ever live compatibly with beings that aren't supposed to be, um, around anymore. I don't really believe in ghosts because I've never had any experience with one. I've only heard about it in exactly this way, reading or hearing a story about someone else's experience. But still, how do you deny something like that? Unless every occurrence of a "ghost" is really just a family member with a great need for attention. I was reading or watching something about a ghost "tracker" and in every instance he investigated it turned out to be a kid in the family who fit a specific description, pulling tricks for attention. This could very well have been a movie. Facts and fiction get easily confused in my head.

:laugh: so is the lesson to be happy with what we have because surely it's better than that? Ashton Kutcher has a movie coming out next year called "Butterfly Effect," that sounds reallly good. My roommate saw the preview for it when he went to see the LOTR, I guess in the movie Ashton's girlfriend dies and somehow he's given the ability to go back in time and change things, but each time he does, things get worse.. she still dies but I guess each time things get more fucked up and she dies in a more horrible way.. like the second time she's addicted to drugs, and more friends die... okay this is a horrible synopsis. But it seemed relevant.

I actually didn't even WANT to do the whole presents thing this year. I'd be happy just to spend time with my family, this is my first Christmas home in 3 years do to crappy work schedules, I forgot what it was like to just be able to be here. Plus I guess I've finally grown up enough so that I don't feel the IWANTIWANTIWANTNOWNOWNOW virus this holiday season. The shopping and malls and newspaper ads, bleah, I wish the world would just freeze and give it up this year, lol. I don't really feel it in a Grinch kind of way. Just a be happy with what you have kind of way. lol, did i just say that.

correction: the sooner you are able to bring closure to things, the better? i/e the case of a loved ones death, etc. How do you really do that?

unless it's of the kind prescribed by a licensed professional. siceone, without closure though blood would just continue to purge itself from the heart until it shriveled up.. and we were incapable of feeling much of anything.. at least when we come to terms with things, sure we can prepare ourselves for more potential loss/pain, but we also allow room for things that will possibly enhance our lives and make it positive. so i guess it is necessary. I wonder if.. the sooner you are able to get over things, the better?
