  1. thank u. yur the first person who seems to have told it like it was. good music, thin meathead crowd.
  2. Although it may not be the case in your clique of friends, hooting, hollering and whistling and generally amiable behavior in public places is typically associated with drugs and has been since the early 1900's. It comes with the territory. If you weren't on drugs and/or alcohol (which in itself is a drug) and you were behaving that way due to the music, good for you. As for the instigators who claim you were on something, screw em and be happy that you had a good time and let it go. Why even bother to feed the negativity if you had a good time?
  3. yeah no one cares, except those above that deny there were a lot of drug users and those who insist there were. It's probably those who deny it, were on pills, while those who say everyone else was on them, wasn't.
  4. yeah, another one. I think the sheer number of individual roxy threads is keeping me from going. Almost sounds like it's a friggin JingleBall hosted by Z100.
  5. Well, since C. Lawrence was supposed to spin that night before it was cancelled, I'm assuming that it will be him.
  6. "...Since it is reasonable to assume that music concerts - whether rock, country, rap, or electronic music -attract some people who want to use or sell drugs, this provision makes criminals out of every concert promoter, nightclub owner, and stadium or arena owner in the country. Moreover, its broad language would allow the federal government to find and jail Kinkos’ managers, soda and alcohol distributors, and anyone else that provided goods and services to an electronic music event."

    Tip Me

Good from afar, far from good. but through beer-goggles, definitely a winner
  8. what do you do with a teabag? think about it... dip...raise...dip...raise...
  9. Yeah I know, I haven't missed a PvD event in many many years. I was just hoping Luis would be left behind this time (no offense Luis) because its gonna be a short set.
  10. Well, you can't see him, but you can definitely hear him. But..the beats will echo and sound muffled due to the expanse of space.
  11. Luis Diaz? I hope not. It's a 6pm-10pm event. If Luis is there, PvD will spin for max 3 hours and more likely 2.5.
  12. once again...the ladder theory emerges true!
  13. edgar v....eh. he closed for PvD a few times a while back, definitely thought he was a little weak. well, i guess anyone would sound weak after pvd...
  14. Maybe its also because of the huge history black america has in America? Hmmm, i dunno...but I think that could be it too.
  15. DJ Tek will be spinning trance starting 4am at Centro this saturday.
  16. And its doubtful there will be any encores given that he needs to be in Transit by 1am.
  17. more like cleaning condoms. or things it's wrapping. mmmmm, squeaky clean! on to the next!
  18. the fact that you had already needed to give her FIVE chances means that your "chances" means diddly to her. Here's her way of thinking: Guy: wanna fuck? Her: hmmm, why not. (thinking this in her head: why not, he'll give me another "chance". And since I'm gonna get in trouble anyways, I might as well let this guy fuck me in the ass) Get it? NO ONE deserves FIVE chances. I'm sorry, I understand ppl make mistakes, but its the same scenario as the guy who beats his girl and the girl saying "oh, i'll give him another chance" FIVE times. WAKE UP! I don't mean to be harsh. But sometimes ppl need a harsh reality check. I know yur in a rough position. You love this girl, we can all tell. But it almost seems one sided and its not reciprocated with the same level of respect from her end. So take a deep breath and THINK OBJECTIVELY about what is happening and go from there. Regardless of which way you go, good luck.
  19. let me go a little further. The biggest thing, imho, in a relationship is honesty. It's all about trust. Trusting her to be there, her trusting you to be there when needed. Trusting that you both are there to take care of each other, have fun together, etc. After that comes communication. Being able to talk to each other about things that are on our minds and knowing that what is being said is said with honesty and truth. From the little you said about your relationship, it seems that she's violating both.
  20. dump her plain and simple. seems she's just playing with your mind and she's succeeding.
  21. Doors open at 4:30pm, show starts at 6pm. I'd imagine it will go until about 10pm or whatever the time summer stage is licensed to use the park for. Typically, SS concerts end before 10pm.
