Oh yeah - MAW - we should definitely be there. I was at their Christmas event last year at the Union Sq. Ballroom and it was off the hook. Jellybean spun in the main room for a while, then Lil Louie. Kenny Dope was in the lounge playing true, true Garage Classics. Silver, DX, The Mask, and all other faithful house followers - you won't be disappointed at this event. Trust!

Powerpill - I gather you've heard this reject at Webster Hall. Never understood why the owners of WH would even waste their money. Their Thurs., Fri, Sat. Lineup - Rizzo, Moody, Corbo is the best they've ever had. The last time I heard Louie play - I was sick with laughter.

I think KTU sucks! I rarely listen to radio. If I do, I listen to alot of Garage Classics on Kiss or some Salsa. JoeCrack - thanks for the info. I do agree with you on the Miami station. It is hot.

Hi Mask - sorry I haven't been around. Life has been a little crazy. Wow - Mike Rizzo playing true house music???? I guess things really change. Not commercial, food for thought! Congrats Mike. I heard WH was busy on Thursday but my friend also told me it was pretty much because everything is FREE. Funny how Sats. people must pay for everything! Well, I guess people should pay to hear Rick Corbo. I think they should pay to hear Mike - too! Friday - Moody was not there. He was in Vegas. WH had one of their side room "fill ins" play. None of those cats can top - Rizzo, Moody or Corbo.... Now that's a true weekend lineup. You need to come down on Saturday and check out Corbo. Oh, and yes, I do not know you. I'm really good buds with the Bull.

I personally don't like Cream. Went there once - never went back. As far as Webster - if you went on Saturday - I'm sure it was great. The ballroom was crazy from what I heard. People were into the music provided by Rick Corbo and not the auction or the other stuff they try to put upon their clients. I'd have to agree - if you pay $35, or even $10, to get into a club you should be able to dance and party. Not get interrupted by crap. Hopefully, I'll go back this weekend. Thanks cutie - I support the true lovers of music. I've been in the industry for about 20 years. Started sitting in a DJ booth at 16 with Jellybean at the Funhouse. Then moving forward into the real afterhour times of the LOFT. Did the door and worked at many clubs like - Sound Factory Bar (Lil Louie Vega parties - MAW), Palladium (Marcelo and Chichi), The Roxy (Damn, when Claude use to play there early 80's), Club City, Red Zone, etc. All old school - real time. Damn - where do I begin.... I'll skip the ridiculous issues at the door. Once inside, the only place to be was in The Ballroom with Rick Corbo. He had thousands of people screamin, dancing, just plain old losing their minds. The music was off the hook. He's really, really something! I was definitely glad to see so many of his followers there. We didn't stop dancing until he turned off the music - shit, was it almost 6.... My legs and glutes still hurt and it's Monday. Now that's a party! Many thanks for bringing him back. P.S. We could do without the lengthy auction!

Silverbull - how are you? I think if Burnt went to Webs on 7/19 he must have had a great time. Hopefully, he received a promo! Rick had the Ballroom dancin, screamin and sweatin! And, to think, we have it on tape. I do agree, the auction is whack....Very weak intrusion on what is a great performance by one of their better DJs. I've also noticed they put out these really big flyers, on the bar, advertising thurs and fri. Are they trying to take the Saturday crowd over to their other nights? Sat. 7/19 - Great night at The Hall. The Ballroom was packed. Rick Corbo played a fierce set. The auction is just too long and starts too late. Should begin at 12:00 not 1:00. But I must say that once that was over - Rick got right back on track with the music. It was 2:30 and people were still coming in to the club. There were people everywhere having a great time. His promo cds were nice too. Whoever received those - hopefully you'll enjoy them. Big ups to Silverbull and Destiny....

Earlier this year he wasn't there. Sometimes WH would advertise Rick but it wasn't him playing. Now he is there. Come check him out. What dancers???? The girls that are there now don't dance - they pose. Oh, and when it comes to this board - I only started posting a little while ago. I'm 37 years old. Been there and back when it comes to djs, music and clubbing. I'm definitely not a newbie. Use to listen to Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan live when I was a newbie. The old Loft with the brothers cooking for their clientele. Those were real club days. The only reason I support Corbo is because many (too many) people like yourself talk shit without even knowing a talent and the amount of passion they have to do this bullshit business.
