No weight training at all during boot camp. Push-ups, pull ups, crunches, and lots of running. I don't know about other branches but the physical side of the Navy is a joke. Some of these people are soooooo out of shape its disgusting. They make the standards so low that any idiot can pass. Male age 20-24: 1.5 mile run - 13:45, Push-ups - 45 in 2 minutes, Sit-ups - 55 in 2 minutes.
