Oakenfold the next night was just as amazing todd. The chaos you saw going all the way down to 6th ave and halfway to 5th ave for Digweed was the same on a night when historically NYC has a mass exodus to the beaches. And yes he played for more than 45minutes. He played from 12-4. Liquid Todd opened for him, who is a really great guy, and the closer was amazing.......this guy eddie bang. Also for all of you with some warped opinion of Paul and the size of his ego...........From my own personal intereaction with him he has always be extremely humble, soft spoken and just a great person. I mean a guy at his level who still carries in his own records says a lot these days. He's just a phenomenal guy that always comes through for the crowd. ZYGO IS FOR CLOSERS!

Groove, no review of Diggers from Thursday? I mean after a night like that you have to give some props.......

Guys, the sound system is one of the best in the world hands down. Although I can't say that for all of the DJs on Sat. Everyone knows, you can have the best sound out there but if you have a DJ without a clue then you're screwed. Ask people what they thought of our system friday with oakenfold or thursday with digweed. Then you'll be hearing "damn what a great sound system." Great systems are designed for great DJs. Hell I'm lucky if I could get a cd to play on the fucking things, but that doesn't mean it sucks, it just means I'm a moron.

We had an amazing weekend here in NY.......well at Centro-Fly, outside of those doors I have no idea what happened in the city. I pretty much lived there for the weekend between Digweed on Thursday and Oakenfold on Friday. This weekend was a monumental one for Centro-fly. 1)At a time when the whole country is suffereing finacially and people are claiming the death of big clubs and Rockstar DJs, Centro-fly had its biggest two consecutive days in it's Four year History.............6000 people in two days when every other club in Manhattan was a ghost town. I'm just really proud of everyone here that helped pull it off. 2)Simultaneously while we were having our huge weekend here in NY the owners of Centro-Fly and Carl Kennedy were in Ibiza. Why? They were doing the worldwide release of Centro-Fly Music at Pacha which Pete Tong also broadcast live on the BBC's Radio1 for a few million listeners. For everyone who is still making nightlife happen, which all of this shows it still is........Thank you!

Just to let you guys know, the compliments to the staff are amazing. I made sure they all saw copies of the posts and it had a great impact. The staff at Centro Loves you guys and the fact that everyone sees how much we care about our jobs means a lot. We've all been doing the club thing for a long time and for the people who work here this place is a realization of all the things they hoped for when working other places. I hope the smae feeling has rubbed off on all of you guys too. This place means a lot to us all. We are just trying to fill the vacancy of fun that NYC is suffering from lately. Digweed and the Oakenfold party the next day just showed how great NYC still is and Centro-Fly is one of the only places left that has been around long enough to know what a fucking party is all about. Glad we could host it for everyone.

No Problem Groove. What time did you leave? Digweed really didn't start to get into it until like four and then he went until after 6:30. It was amazing.........3000 people Oh and not to mention ZYGO............we went through 50 bottles of it for digweed and then 40 for Oakenfold on Friday. Now I just wish we could duplicate that somewhere in Boston. It would be so amazing to watch this stuff just have nights like this all over the country and know that it all started from right inside the clubs......not some giant liquor company using their mindless ad campiagns to pry their way into our community, but never really caring about whether we like it or not. Digweed was such a sexy mess. Breifly I met groovefire. Hopefully he had a great time. 3000 people for diggers. How fucking amazing is that? The next event that I'm looking foward to is Felix. Such a great guy. Between him and Junior Sanchez, they are some of the nicest most talented guys in the business. ZYGO IS FOR CLOSERS! WITH A DRINKING HABIT....................

Kaydup I love you and you have been the greatest adversary. Trying to feild your doubt torwards me has made me a better poster. Thank you. I promise from now on to be less doubtful of people on the boston board. You should really go over to the NY board, then you'd see why I get defensive. You can only imagine how many hack promoters are in NY and a lot of them use clubplanet as an easy way out of really doing the work necesary to promote a great party. Instead of using their own ingenuity, they have used the creators of this board to make their lives easy and then collect their money for nothing from the club. Ah that felt good Just a note, so far the responses from the boston board have in general been much less self interested and much more personal than on NY's.

How did you know I was self important? It usually takes people a lot more time to figure that out, only for the fact that I am so insignificant in realy life no one ever notices to point out the obvious. Well his message board personality is more captivating than strippers rolling in at 4am jiggling around naked, but I can't tell you if I like him in person yet. That will all change on Thursday for digweed and you will get an update on the showdown friday afternoon. Maybe saturday If I "really" like him. And the only reason I ask is because in my experience the term "mutually " beneficial in this business is very often a lot like "how may I fuck you , next." I may come off crass, but I am honest

Are you just another promoter looking to cash in on a company with genuine intentions of giving people a great time, or do you really like the product?

If you come down to Centro-fly for digweed on thurs. then sleep in the park during the day friday adn then come to oakenfold on friday I'm sure you will have an outstanding time. I'll host you both nights at the club, but you are sure as hell not coming home with me to take a shower. Just take a dip in some corporate fountain and go to a 1 hour cleaners. I'm sure you can all take the humiliation of walking the streets of manhattan naked for an hour. Or you could do like the regular people, which won't be half as much fun and get a boring old hotel and party your Independence day in NYC. You'll have an unforgetable evening whether you wake up with morning dew all over you or a chocolate left by the housekeeper stuck to your head. And yes we will have plenty of ZYGO for all of the people sick of hearing me post about it and having never had it to slam it.
