the dat party is so small they held it in a dance studio in the city and was sooo cool b/c you didnt have the pressure of regular club/lounge obligations & rules. Everyone there was having a nice time dancing ... they were getting open!!! lol.... those soulful parties have a partiular style of dance ive never seen... it's like an arobic/yoga/streching style of dance.. they roll around on the floor and crawl and do handstands and backflips... lol..

last time i heard together in spirit was near F.I.T. on 27th st... havent heard of them lately...

you may also like the Deep See party by eman and Lola (bang the party) on tuesdays.... it's $5 to get in... nice party too... at Saphire lounge on eldrige.

You can get the low down on deephousepage.com.... that's a soulful website all the parties are promoted there. soulful real earthy organic tropical style of music with a nice vibe... it is different.

you should come to one of my parties... WE HAVE A GOOD TIME... small but very nice n quaint! VEEEEEEERY friendly people... :) we go all across the board musically, soulful, tropical, dark progressive... whatevaaaaa!

Our family has grown to one of the funnest bunches! lol... we all crazy... but lots of fun. Creative bunch. lol...

    chao have a good weekend!

Thanks for the nfo. I work alot but maybe one day one of your parties will coincide with my schedule. Keep us up to date on your party. Peace.

  2. I don't like the idea of that non dancing lounge hip hop crap in a huge club like crobar. I love house music but I also grew up on hiphop and to play that pop hiphop is disrespectful to true hip hop music. If you are gonna be "trendy" then be revolutionary and help create trends not be part of the commercialism of hiphop music. Thank you.

a bunch of smaller versions of those parties are around... ive been to them... and they rock! if you are into soulful parties check out the DAT party.... the coffee shop always has nice events... Men of Rythem, together in spirit, melting pot... im sure you've heard of them.

Hey I will take the respect you gave me but I have never been to any of those parties. That was my first time in shelter. I love the oldschool breakers when I was growing up and being there brought alot of that vibe in the new school sense. I was just watching for hours the dancers break and do salsa style dancing. It was def a great place. The rooftop was also dope. I am sure solbeam will enjoy this as well. Thanks for the great info soulsauce hopefully you can drop some addy's to these parties you listed. Peace.

    Thank you,

It is evident to many on this board that your promotions on every other thread is not curteous and especially knowing that this messageboard is full of people ready to rip your head off why would you even bother playing the part of the victim? Just my 2 cents bud. And on another note. What type of music does that dan barnes dude play? I see him listed for nye afterhours at centro. Peace.

  5. Ok so what are the options for that saturday night.

A: Stay home and watch tv. Blah!!!!

    B: Go somewhere else. Possibility

C: Go as a strong crew and boo this imposter off stage!!! One of my personal faves!

D: Go for Rick Corbo and have him play extra hard and underground causing this fool to get musically hurt and learn what the nyc underground is truly about!:aright:

thats total BS, i was there this sat and it was empty. Actually once i got inside it turned out that it was a party for the deaf....you may criticize me all you want, but i found it histerical that whoever was organizing this even chose webster hall........

Tell me about it. They pack you like herds of cattle instead of opening the grand ballroom earlier. Mr. Corbo is my fix for the week but the people that make decisions I believe don't make the right ones. Until midnight it was almost impossible to get to a bar cause the deaf people had them all blocked. If they knew they were gonna have extra traffic that night why not compensate for it?:blank: Hey whatever man if Rick Corbo did not DJ there I would have no other major reason to go. No disrespect intended.

  7. Don't forget his trusty flashlight in fulleffect behind Vibe. I thought I was at close encounters of the third kind! Hey Matt what type of motorized lazer were that? Handheld or a Bat Lazer? Cause that was insane! And that song Tenaglia dropped about Christopher Columbus was so incredible. Oh and DJ Vibe was so straight up fire. So much energy. In my opinion Vibe lived up to the cp hype. I am def glad I went.:)

  8. Why don't you come to arc instead sexxichikk? It's 20 bucks before 1 with the flier which I am sure you can get easily. I hear it is gonna be a pretty cool night. DJ Vibe and DT till 12 midday the next day. The info is on arcspace.net. At least that is where I got my info. Peace...
