I have been to love its a dope little spot. I still haven't check out any of the dark house nights. Only Joe's party in the beginning. What is the crowd like Sulli? My only problem with that space is the dance floor the traffic flow is weird.

Well I'm hearing a King Unique set right now. All I have to say is thank good for the Internet.. I was about to go check this guy out but electro is not my bag. I like earthy sounds or straight up tribal; and I can never get enough 4 on 4. Anyway I'm all about Booking DJs on skills. This cat has them, but his sound is not for me. Seems Armand was also booked for his name as a producer.but from what I hear and I'm going on hearsay. The man can't work the box. When I'm on the dance floor I need a DJ that can surprise. Work tracks so hard I can't recognize them, Remix on the fly, bring tight edits. Keep the energy up but not slam it down all night long. A good DJ is a professional tease. You never he never lets you have the cake, but you think your about to bight into eat.

I will be in attendance.

Jelly Bean moved his party there, I better check it out. Thats party has the best one of the best vibes n the city. I would put it up there with 718 sessions, DT when it is the right crowd , The Bulls BDay party...

DT does play the crowd pleaser roll they all have to in big rooms. If you want to make The big $$$ you have to sell out a little... Most of them make it up by playing the solid house music in the latter hours of there sets.

I now that Cebo is from the New York scene. I have gotten to watch many great circles in New York at Shelter, Aint nothing but a house Party, your party and many other events.... I own many dance DVDs, I have taken house classes. I love house music in all aspects from hard tribal to the deep&soulful. But I was trying to come from a different point of view. That of the clubber that goes to Crobar, Pacha, Spirit. not from the deep house scene, where the dancers leark. It seem that in the mega clubs other than the occassional BBoy, the art of dance is lost. I am often asked "how long have you been breaking for?" when I can't even six step. A kid once told me he liked how I top rocked. I concider my self a house dancer, I think I'm decent. I understand the fundamentals I don't look or move anything like a bboy when I dance. I like the acrobatic aspect of the dance and am learning to apply it, but the movements are cleary not of a bboy. I am a student of capoeira and that is what I use as my acrobatic foundation. Anyway, to get to my point is I would love to see a more advance house dance in the mega clubs. Not the fist pumping two step shuffle or bboying. But you are right I choose the wrong words.

I got kicked out of Factory for counting money on the dance floor once.

Big DJ should not play small venues pn weekends. If with Joe on new years day, you could breath in that place. With Vibe its going to get ugly.

Well if your want to hear House with a mature crowd try Cielo on Wensday nights. The Party is called Roots and it is top notch.

Things change yet they still remain the same. The New York Dance scene is strong the numbers are crazy. Lets not get it twisted, the fact is there is the deep house crowd and then there is the hard house crowd. Gabe you know it the NY scene is strong. In my short time as a house head, living this House music life style. I have scene a few ups and down. Yeah I wasn't around for the 90 explosion but righ the mega clubs are packed and the deep house party over crowded. Its all good in club land.

I will be there, this is a party for true heads.

I have to agree the crowd was one sided didn't help every one else in the tri state was down the shore or at hamptons. We were rolling 12 deep so, it was easy for us to get over the crowd and into our own trip. Music was good on the hard side. I left early around 5 there really was not much of a vibe. Next week Tedd Paterson should draw in a better crowd. So, I will be back

I remember he had a residency at Cielo a few years ago.
